A couple of months back, I put together a list of new items for the loyalty store, and I was happy to get some positive responses. Now, I’m looking to suggest some new additions for the vote store and the PK points store. Instead of starting 3 different threads, I figured it’d be easier to combine everything into one.

Staff don’t always get the recognition they deserve, so I’m giving a special shout-out to Munken today.

 

The Alora clan chat was in an uproar today, and the only staff member available was Munken, the fresh face on the team, who doesn’t have much power, or experience yet. I felt like Munken nailed it in dealing with the situation until a higher-up showed up online. I don't think a lot of new staff would have been able to keep it together with all that palaver.

 

Munken has been a stellar addition to the staff team since being promoted. 

I've encountered some chatter about a $40k donator rank, and honestly, it seems ridiculous. Who has that kind of monies just sitting around? Plus, I doubt anyone has enough in-game currency to buy that many bonds or rank tickets unless they hit the jackpot at ;;Gamble.

 

Currently, 2% of the community has the highest donator rank, introduced nearly 5 years ago. Of that group, just 0.75% are active at the moment.

 

Instead of creating a new donator rank, I think it’d be super to introduce some fresh perks that more players can enjoy. Let’s focus on perks that most people can realistically save up for, whether it’s with cash or in-game currency.

 

I’m thinking of tossing around some ideas for new donator perks. If you’ve got any ideas, don’t hesitate to share them, and I’ll add them to the list.

 

 

Donator

• 5% run boost
• 3 seconds bonus time at Tears of Guthix
• Coal bag capacity is 36, rather than the standard 27
• 1 free Slayer task reset a day (doesn't remove Slayer points or remove Slayer streak)
• Double marks of grace
• Dodgy necklace preventing pickpocket fails increased from 25% to 35%
• Bag full of gems will give 75 uncut gems, rather than the standard 40

 

Super Donator

• 7% run boost
• 5 seconds bonus time at Tears of Guthix
• Gem bag capacity is 100 of each uncut gem, rather than 60
• Double grey chinchompas per successful hunt (does not affect XP)
• Auto-collect marks of grace with the ring of wealth (i) equipped
• 50 loyalty points per forum post, rather than the standard 25
• 2 free Slayer task reset a day (doesn't remove Slayer points or remove Slayer streak)

 

Extreme Donator

• 10% run boost
• 7 seconds bonus time at Tears of Guthix
• Herb sack capacity is 50 of each grimy standard herbs, rather than 30
• Triple grey chinchompas per successful hunt (does not affect XP)
• Double red chinchompas per successful hunt (does not affect XP)
• Extra daily task (difficulty can be random)
• Only receive uncut sapphire, emerald, ruby, and diamond from gem rocks - not uncut opal, jade, or red topaz
• Free entry inside the Wilderness Resource Area
• Add a herb patch at the Donator Zone for Extreme Donator+ to use
• Clue bottles and bird nests go straight into your inventory (ground if inventory is full)
• 3 free Slayer task reset a day (doesn't remove Slayer points or remove Slayer streak)

 

Legendary Donator

• 15% run boost
• 10 seconds bonus time at Tears of Guthix
• Double black chinchompas per successful hunt (does not affect XP)
• Triple red chinchompas per successful hunt (does not affect XP)
• Boosted Thieving success rate
• Extra roll at Wintertodt
• Can smelt ores with noted coal in the Wilderness Resource Area
• Add a flower and bush patch at the Donator Zone for Legendary Donator+ to use
• Clue bottles and bird nests go straight into your bank
• Sawmill cost is 25% off original

 

Uber Donator

• 20% run boost
• Double Farming harvest
• Triple black chinchompas per successful hunt (does not affect XP)
• Ability to use the Donator Zone's gilded altar as a lit PoH gilded altar
• Receive the same Firemaking XP from bonfires as you would from normal log-burning
• Don't need coal to smelt ores in the Wilderness Resource Area
• Sawmill cost is half price
• Can use noted coal on coal bag to store
• Can use noted uncut gems on gem bag to store

 

Master Donator

• Dwarf cannon auto reloads
• Always receive full crystal key as drops (no tooth or loops)
• Can use noted logs for noted planks at the Sawmill
• Bloody chest loot chance has 10% increase with red skull (stacks with current bloody chest loot chance increase perk)
• Sharks, dark crabs, anglerfish, and manta rays don't burn without Cooking skill cape
