I have seen you provoke To Gain numerous times throughout my time here. This behaviour was clearly the tipping point, leading to the subsequent punishment.

 

You and others must see the broader context instead of focusing solely on a single situation.

 

In the future, set aside your ego and use the staff reports section or reach out to Tauri directly, instead of inundating the public forum with needless and immature drama.

I think it would be nice to see more attention directed towards the site and forum, and this would be a perfect beginning.

What effort would it ruin for Omricon? When it still be the same server just a fresh economy..look at Ikov, as old as this server, a simple fresh world they have over 1K players. Proof is in the pudding.

[Redacted] main server has been dead for ages. I wonder how long it’ll take before everyone gets fed up and leaves, just like before, leading the owners to abandon it again.

[Redacted] is super popular for their hype releases due to their past successes and dominance in the RSPS scene, but Jordan and Stuart struggle to keep their players around for long.

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: Nope. However, this is a dupe suggestion. Nevertheless, I believe it is necessary to bring it up again, as the initial suggestion was made more than 2 years ago.

How would this benefit Alora?: Constantly having to run back and forth to the Sawmill Operator can be tedious. Plank make is inefficient. The Butler method is just incredibly faster.

Leagues V is expected to be introduced in the main game next month, I would prefer to see it released as a new update during the Christmas holidays rather than the suggestion you have presented.

 

 

You get both seeds and bird nest from opening a clue nest, so the only thing that's removed is rings and eggs.  Why?

 

Because

1. Bird eggs are useless once you've already unlocked the chicken outfit.  

2. Bird eggs are not even meant to be obtained from chopping redwoods. 

 

If you want bird eggs, chop other trees or just do birdhouses.  

 

Redwoods should be dropping clue nests every time a bird nest is rolled.  That is how it is in OSRS.

That is how it should be on Alora.  

 

Acquiring optimal Woodcutting XP while gathering redwood logs for the lumberjack outfit, along with earning some of the best Fletching and Firemaking XP, and obtaining bird nests (eggs) for the evil chicken outfit presents a mutually beneficial scenario.

 

OSRS might have certain things, but that doesn’t mean Alora needs to follow suit or that the community wants it.

Pets should not provide gameplay advantages, and this principle should be upheld. Their purpose is solely cosmetic, serving primarily as collectables. Furthermore, the proposal you have put forth would likely diminish participation in the skilling mini-games even further.

I am not trying to be a downer here, but you've revealed many personal details. It could be wise to consider removing some of that for your safety. The internet, for all its glory and opportunities, does unfortunately feature threats and challenges.

 

Nonetheless, welcome to Alora! You seem like a pretty awesome dude, and I think it’d be fun to have a chat with you in-game.

The one thing I’ll point out is you chop/obtain logs, in general, a lot quicker than OSRS hence why the respawn time may seem low.

Guarantee at the same level and axe type on tress such as yew+ you will always obtain a full inventory quicker than you would on OSRS which in return equals more xp/hr.
Especially trees such as magic/redwood.

I propose that trees should have an extended despawn time, similar to the mechanics in OSRS, rather than an increased respawn rate. A longer despawn time for trees would align better with the intended nature of the Woodcutting skill.

Update Woodcutting mechanics to match Old School RuneScape.

 

While Woodcutting is often considered a relatively AFK skill in OSRS, I believe it to be one of Alora's least AFK skills. Currently, I am focused on chopping yew trees and am acquiring a maximum of five logs per tree, with occasional instances of receiving none. This can be quite vexing, especially for those playing on the lower XP game modes. In the original game, chopping redwood trees is viewed as one of the most AFK activities; nevertheless, this perspective does not apply to Alora.
