What effort would it ruin for Omricon? When it still be the same server just a fresh economy..look at [redacted], as old as this server, a simple fresh world they have over 1K players. Proof is in the pudding.
People enjoy the fact of a new start, especially a RSPS that's been out 5+ Years, who knows maybe leagues will bring more players, but it definitely won't bring as many as a fresh world would. Also you shouldn't make this about yourself @Strudel, you may quit, but 50 may join, and even then, we both know. You'd still log in and start again.
I mean, for a RSPS that's 6 years old, with content way out of this league. We all know creating a fresh world this PS will easily hit 1-2K player base. Filling omricons pockets, and bringing more life back to the PS, if closing down original server needs be, then it needs be. Waste of potential IMO, but that's up to Omricon, I haven't played for years but I had an email the other day.. and just thought wow, if a fresh world was started I'd definitely play again, and if I think that, imagine the player base that would follow. Food for thought?
