You can click the item and use it on the chest instead of clicking through the different tiers. Would still be nice to have a deposit all though

Yeah, and that's definitely useful if you have one or two items to add and just don't know the tier. It's still somewhat of a pain if you've got 10+ to deposit

Support, but I think option 2 feels correct to me. It'd be strange to have random events give baguettes but need a different potentially more difficult mechanism to access their stale counterparts when they're accessed the same way on OSRS
