How would this benefit Alora?:

 

In OSRS to complete the moons log takes significantly longer than on Alora, similar to Barrows. Alora compensated for this by adding a shop where irons could buy bolt racks for Karil's Xbow. 

 

We should have a shop for Atlatl darts, I've finished the moons log over a week ago and yet I'm still going everyday to moons to get another 1k darts to throw into krakens face and not get a trident. 

 

Help me. 

No support, kits are not pets. Add a kit booster for these and ancestral kits if the demand is there but I don't think it's necessary.

Also let's be real, posting screenshots like that should result in a forum punishment and subsequently removal of veteran status. The immediate projection and escalation upon any mild disagreement and is so telling.

Support, had this been proposed by anyone else the responses would not be the same and we all know it.

Literally nobody enjoys doing phosani, no teams run normal NM either. Coming from arguably the biggest nightmare spoon in alora history this content needs a buff.

The idea that anyone would be expected to put in the current insane number of hours to complete NM log in a private server is absurd.

This game is an Ironman/gamble server let's keep it real - and no ironman is going to come grind 200+ hours to get lateral upgrades that's why there's none in the eco because most players have barely touched this content nonetheless farmed it to the point of having dupes to sell.

Although this may be against game rules, and due to the broad rules & freedom for interpretation by staff members - Alan does deserve some form of punishment according to the rules.

I do not agree that this should be against game rules but it seems to be.

What I don't think is reasonable is a permanent ban for this especially at the beginning of leagues on a leagues account. Perhaps a forced name change and/or temp mute would be justified.

Perhaps the staff intended this as part of a series of increasingly harsh punishments for Alan to deter behaviour they don't like.

None of which have worked to date so maybe a different approach like letting the man exist and express himself within reason while the rest of us just live our lives and play the game.

Being cringe isn't criminal, and some random on the internet saying ruck you shouldn't cause any emotional turmoil as a grown man.

No support, waste of dev time, bad for eco, and not in OSRS in anyway shape or form. Essentially a p2w micro transaction, just get good.

No support, there's already a global accuracy buff on alora that disproportionately benefits the fang and other high accuracy weapons. Doing this would remove use cases for slash weapons like the blade of saeldor.

Sort of? It was noted by Omicron on gim crohn's thread that it was changed, but it never was actually changed.

@Mhk FYI, and for the record this was claimed to be fixed in update notes - when followed up on we were given a non-answer and ghosted.

 

 

 

Full support on this suggestion, hopefully now that ICE also is experiencing this we can get a solution to a real problem we've had to deal with weekly for well over a year now. 

 

 

 

It's unreal that we had to close all of our applications and constantly kick members taking temporary breaks, or on military service, or going through real world issues like deaths in the family over this.

 

 

 

We've been unable to advertise or grow as a clan for a long time because of this.

Hello Alorians, I am writing this yet again as our previous suggestion & poll was accepted but not implemented. We previously were allowed 400 accounts on a friends list, which allows for ~133 people to have 3 accounts added to a CC. This is not enough to sustain our clan Aftermath as we are unable to accept new members without removing other members from the clan. 

 

Many of you agreed with us that this change is necessary to limit work required by Clan Higher-Ups allowing us to focus more on events and other things that make Alora Better. 

 

We noticed our update had finally come but I logged in today to test it to realize nothing in fact has changed. After pruning all of our accounts yet again we are left with a whopping 22 free slots for our members.

 

This is not the update we suggested, voted for, and the community approved.

@Omicron it's time to actually change the clan system or increase friends list caps.
 

Seek help bro. 

If sailing somehow makes its way to OSRS, it will be right up there with eoc as one of the worse updates in Runescape's 23 year history.

 

I would be very disappointed if it made its way to Alora.

Punishments like this demonstrate bias and vendettas against players that staff don't particularly enjoy dealing with. We have had multiple mass un-bans allowing members of the community to rejoin after scamming, RWTing, doxxing, ddosing, botting, breaking literally every single rule in the game - because it's good for business primarily but theoretically justified by saying everyone deserves another chance. 

 

This doesn't track with @Real Alan, can he be annoying? Absolutely. Is he usually making a bigger deal out of something than needs to be? Of course, he's a realism player. Is he sometimes very cringe? Fuck yes. However, being cringe is in fact - not a crime. Being difficult to deal with - is also not a crime worthy of indefinite punishment if we're allowing people who've broken every rule in the game to return to the game (and some of them become staff themselves) We've got plenty of cringe lolcows on Alora forums, discord, and in-game already one more just adds content to the game and community.

 

If you're an employee at a business as these staff members are - your job isn't just to do fun giveaways and events, flex your crown and get some monthly tokens. It's also to deal with the situations and the people that others don't want to deal with themselves. That's part of the role, Alan is not unreasonably toxic, he doesn't make threats of violence, he doesn't even pose any threat to anyone in-game at all; If you think he does you should fight him in the wilderness I'm sure you'll be surprised! 

 

Tl;Dr Alan can be cringe both ingame and on the forums it doesn't make sense that he's silenced for this long for simply for being cringe. 

Support, for both your suggestion and for you to stop crying.
