What is your suggestion?:

 

My suggestion is to add a statue in-game to add more fame to the title: Member of the Month. 

 

Is this in OSRS?:

 

No.

 

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

 

As far as I know this has not been suggested yet (correct me if I'm wrong).

 

How would this benefit Alora?:

 

This would benefit Alora in a positive way. The chosen member of the month will have it's name written on the Member of the Month statue with maybe some personal addiitions (a self written optional text which will show on the text whenever someone clicks on the statue).

 

What I mean with positive is that people in Alora will see that there is such a thing as "Member of the month" (not everybody uses the forum, so I assume many players don't even know this exists). Maybe this wil encourage people to show the best version of themselves to maybe have their name written on the statue one day. 

 

I don't think this will be a hard thing to add since we have just the right spot in Edgeville already with shadow textures already added. I mean ofcourse, the spot where there should be a tree in OSRS:

 

 

I think adding the statue will add some more value to the title "Member of the Month" as well, so it will become a more overall elite title on the forums and in-game.

 

Ofcourse the location can be somewhere else, but this is just a suggestion.

Overall I think this would be a nice addition to the game and not to hard to implement/maintain!

Yet, no blowpipe. I did receive a few extra drops though. Many of you probably have seen me complaining about not getting the blowpipe in-game, but I thought: why not post an update.

Welcome mate! I’ve probably been to that same site on the 25th of september, looking for a server. Came across Alora and became addicted right away. You definitely won’t regret this decision. This server is alive. More alive than any other RSPS I’ve seen the past few years.

Before grinding too hard: I got the advice to make an ironman instead of a normal account, and also that I didn’t regret for a second! It’s really fun to grind! Make sure to check it out before you put too much time into a normal account, unless you specifically want that ofcourse!

So I went to a shooting star, and there was a guy who didn't know you could get rewards from the star as well by mining it. I told him a few possible rewards and...

2 pets and 5 crystals though I think we kinda have the same luck but I get different uniques where you get the same over and over

Good luck on your grind to the blowpipe as well! Hopefully you’ll get it soon!

For that fury I could suggest doing Shooting Stars.

It's a rare reward, so kind of a long shot but if you manage to get there first you actually get some sweet mining exp too!
 
Other thing you can obviously do is making bowstrings out of those flax from Zulrah (with the lunar spell) to gain some sweet exp.

Maybe I’ll get it from a shooting star soon, but otherwise I got an onyx ready to be crafted into a amulet of fury once I get the right crafting level!

Sounds good! Shouldn't be a problem getting that Blowpipe. You can half all droprates as Zulrah has 2 rolls per kill. Good luck on your grinds man, would love to see more of your progress on forums!

Thanks! I have a good feeling about tomorrow I think I will get my blowpipe around 150 kc (think=hope). Currently at 130 kc. I’ll definitely post more if I think it’s worth posting!

Hey man looking good! You went to zulrah pretty quick! I still remember you joining this server not too long ago! What's your gear setup currently?

Yes that’s true! Joined 25th of september so a good 5 days of playing now .
At the moment I’m using Elite void with rune crossbow, ranger boots, dragonstone bolts (e)/ruby bolts (e), glory (currently working on crafting for fury), ROW. Grinding for the blowpipe as you can see. Also did a few Bandos trips, in the hope of getting tassets so I can stop using void for everything.

Planning on doing Armadyl in the GWD when I get my blowpipe to get my hands on some Arma pieces!

So far no blowpipe, can't complain about this collection log though.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Reading all the comments on this one makes me realize you’re right. Thought it wouldn’t have that much of an effect because it would only contain boss teleports but now I see the benefit of having so many people running around in edgeville

My best moment so far is Torvagina telling me to start an ironman instead of a normal account. I enjoy the iron man bit while building my account. RSPS tend to be easy and become boring very soon, but I feel like this will be everything but boring. Especially because when you get bored, there’s plenty of other game modes you can choose from

I’m so surprised this community is so active. I have played quite alot runescape private servers and OSRS as well ofcourse, but this one stands out! Great job on the newspaper, it’s actually fun to read and makes me want to grind more to be a part of it some day. Keep up the excellent work :)!
