Support! With whatever transpired in the last day or so, I feel something that's terribly lacking is communication. Some actions are being taken on a way too serious note when it is not necessarily the players fault.

I’d like to add to this on the miscommunication part, I was told I was “monitored for hours” doing this. A simple pm or tele to me and say “hey don’t do this” could have made this whole drama fest a non issue, for me and many others, instead they decide to postpone any action and give me a perm ban, reduced to a week long ban for what? Now I’m losing a nearly (or possibly over) 100 day login streak, chance for any forum awards for 3 months, and potential future punishments to be even more severe because this is now my history. Why am I and saeed singled out with bans while many others got warnings? People that have done more kc than me, people who did the wyvern thing as well (while saeed didn’t even partake in the wyvern bug)

Although I doubt they’d openly post bugs in chance that people will abuse, as a victim of this I 100% support this.

Example: not taking damage from minotaur in colosseum (making the invo where you can’t safe spot it free) is an “intended” bug, free for abuse. While using a noxious hallys 1 tile distance to attack at duke is NOT allowed and will result in a week long ban, or warning depending on who the player is (I guess?)

Also listing OSRS mechanics that alora players MUST know to avoid being punished should also be listed.

I was told that avoiding damage = report but I didn’t avoid damage and actually died multiple times there (maybe a skill issue?)

Make it so there's a right-click option to 'give' Watson you're clue scroll and he'll take whatever tiers he doesn't already have that are in your inventory.

 

Another possible introduction could be a 'check' option to see which clues he already is holding.

How would this benefit Alora?: 

Just a very small QoL. Currently you have to go through a long dialoge to see if you haven't already given him a certain tiered clue scroll with the final 'I have something for you'.

What is your suggestion?:

Make it so when equiping a slayer helm the right click option 'check' will show you your task streak.

 

Currently the only method to finding your streak is completing a task or trading a slayer master. This will allow you to figure it wherever you are on the map.

Just a small QoL to allow players to see what streak they're on, and it'd give some functionality to the slayer helms right click options.

Introduction

First I want to say thank you for taking the time to read this

 

I'm making this post to keep me motivated in completing my goals, which as of now is to get max total xp and all pets (a few were left off due to either not knowing about it, or how to obtain it). If I purchase a pet through the store, I'll mark the goal as complete, BUT will go back and collect it once every other pet is complete.

 

I'll update this thread possibly every month or so. If you have any suggestions, or things you think I can add to feel a bit more of a completionist thread feel free.

 

As of now, I won't be adding the goal to complete the collection log, I think I have plenty to do until  I get to that point.

Update: I've decided to make my only goal on this account to grind for 4.6b total xp. If I want to grind for pets, I think it'd be more enjoyable on my GIM.

What is your suggestion?:

Fix the farming patch north east of ::wc (spirit tree patch) and the regular tree patch in tree gnome village. Both pictured below.

 

Considering a lot of our farming patches work, I can't see why this would be such a monumental task, and the tree patch in Tree Gnome Village is notorious for never working, so fixing this would cross out something from the 'to-do' list that has been there for far too long.

I'm sure the Tree Gnome Village patch has been suggested before (didn't find the link), but I didn't find anything on the spirit tree patch north east of ::wc

 

How would this benefit Alora?: 

Fixing these patches would expand how many things players can plant on their farm runs, and it would make farming feel less broken. Also, crossing out things that should have been fixed a long time ago would feel like an accomplishment in my opinion.

Add a players total xp and rank to the highscores when looking them up.

 

Currently if you look a player up it only shows the total xp in their skills, but not total xp overall.

How would this benefit Alora?: 

Would make it easier to see a players total xp that isn't near the top page, just a small QoL for players who are possibly competing against each other, or just want to know someones total xp. Also, just looks overall complete IMO to have the total xp and rank displayed.

Full support, another item worth listing is the elysian spirit shield (or) which is the one with the ornament kit to make it look like a divine, it also doesn't keep a placeholder.
