#357470 Mystic Might Prayer Adjustment

Posted by Xero Mag3 on 01 June 2020 - 08:23 AM

What is your suggestion?:

Investigate and adjust (if necessary) accordingly the Mystic Might prayer.

Is this in OSRS?:

Yes (It works properly on OSRS)

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

No.

How would this benefit Alora?:

Myself and @Xero oreX as well as other users have noticed that the Mystic Might prayer doesn't really work. If anything it actually works negatively towards your Magic accuracy/damage. After a random day of Kraken grinding for a Trident I noticed that when I had Mystic Might on I wasn't hitting as often or as high. Upon AFKing Kraken I forgot to restore my prayer and when Mystic Might turned off I started hitting a lot higher and a lot more often. I'm not sure if this is actually a bug or if my RNG when using Mystic Might just sucks, but it's blatant enough for myself and others to notice. If you have some free time, I would appreciate it if you could test this theory out as to come to a conclusion before sending a developer on a search. I'm sure a lot of people don't notice since they've already done Raids and have their Raid prayers unlocked, but for others this is just an annoyance. I have also tested out Eagle Eye to see if that was similar, but the range prayer works perfect and really makes a noticeable difference. As always all feedback is welcomed and appreciated!

#357352 More Descriptive Suggestion Handling

Posted by Xero Mag3 on 31 May 2020 - 11:55 AM

What is your suggestion?:

Be more descriptive when handling suggestions. Provide information as to why the suggestions are declined.

Is this in OSRS?:

No.

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

No.

How would this benefit Alora?:

This doesn't stem from personal suggestions of mine being declined, I just think the way suggestions are handled shows a lack of compassion for the person suggesting it. I mean just think how you'd feel putting in a suggestion and having it declined with no reason given. I just think to reduce the step of having to reach out to the staff after your suggestion is declined, you should provide the reason for it being declined on the post as to give some insight not just to that user but anyone who was interested in that suggestion. It would only help provide us with the information so we can adjust suggestions or even shape new ones from understanding why previous ones weren't accepted. I just view it like applying for a job and being overlooked or declined without a reason, doesn't help you grow or show you what you could do to get a different result. As always all feedback is appreciated and welcomed!
