Maybe there could be a new quest implemented for this or something along those lines with decently high reqs, if the stats are going to be kept the same so that the grind for a dscim is still useful while gathering skill requirements? :P

Awesome suggestion and I SUPPORT, but only if it is done properly with some good DMM code would this work otherwise it'll just feel like another player hosted event rather than the idea you have! :P

I would like to see something changed with the way the Achievement system works here on Alora, and I like the way you are thinking, maybe have another think about what some of the rewards could be and you'll have my Support, things like extra Mort Myre Fungi just seem a bit pointless to me.
