Has been a good month playing but honestly can't be bothered with the staff team on this game anymore. I get muted for the dumbest of reasons and now i'm perm ip muted and can't be assed playing when i can't even find a raids team because i can't talk at all. Thanks to all of those who were good mates of mine on the server but i literally can not be bothered with this. It's like the rules are set to cater to 10 year olds and not 17+ year olds which is mostly what this game consists of. No more of the complaining but this is my progress before i quit.

#279625 Runite Ore in DZ!

To add more in the regular donator zone would be a bit excessive however i am not against the idea of adding Runite Ores and possibly other ores into the super donator zone as there is barely any benefits to being able to use that area.

 

Support based on Runite Ores being added to the Super Donator Zone.




#279602 GIM Permanent Ban Group Removals

What is the suggested update?

When a player is permanently banned without the possibility of appealing that ban they should instantly be removed from the GIM group they are in.

 

The reasoning behind this suggestion?

When someone gets permanently banned on a GIM account they aren't removed from the group they are currently in which means they are not just an inactive member, They are a member without the possibility of playing again. So it's left to the people in the group to have to do something about it when they are already extremely annoyed and have had their groups integrity hindered by the irresponsible acts of another. I know that there will be people that say "Choose who you have in a group carefully." but you can never know what other people are going to do or say to have themselves banned.

In my case, I have had a member who said the following "Selling GP pm me" as a joke in the yell chat. I completely see why the following player was banned and do not care about his ban or the possibility of his 
unban at all. His account can now never be used but now we are forced to pay for his stupid mistake. He has been punished for his actions obviously and won't be unbanned. Why should we also be punished for his actions? This hinders the ability for us to prosper on high scores and is quite ridiculous considering we have nothing to do with his offense. Even the possibility of having to pay maybe only 100 tokens to remove a banned account?

 

Thank you for reading my suggestion and i hope it might be considered, Any further suggestions on the matter would be greatly appreciated as i will add them into this post.

So i've noticed that in Alora there are a few items that don't really have much of a use and they could be a really awesome implementation if considered, This is silver jewelry. In OSRS these are quite useful but very unique at the same time. Obviously there are quite a few pieces of jewelry that won't serve much of a purpose in the game but here are a few things that i think would be beneficial.

 

 

Dodgy Necklace

(Opal)

 
While equipped, the necklace provides a 25% chance to prevent the player from being stunned and damaged while pickpocketing NPCs. The necklace begins with 10 charges; one charge is consumed each time the necklace successfully prevents damage. When the last charge is consumed, the necklace crumbles to dust. As the player cannot fail a pickpocket attempt on a knocked out NPC, damage taken during blackjacking can only be received by failing a knockout; as such, a dodgy necklace will have no effect on blackjacking.

 

 

 

Bracelet Of Slaughter

(Topaz)

 

When worn, there is a 25% chance for a slayer assignment kill to not count as a kill towards it, but still granting the appropriate slayer experience (excluding TzTok-Jad and TzKal-Zuk). Note that the bracelet needs to be worn only at the moment you defeat your opponent for the effect to occur. This means that for the rest of the fight, other bracelets or gloves can be worn such as the Barrows gloves.

 

 

Expeditious Bracelet

(Opal)

 

When worn, the bracelet provides a 25% chance for the kill to count as two kills toward the player's slayer assignment (but does not grant additional experience). That is, on average, the bracelet activates every four monster deaths to provide the player 5 kills towards their assignment. Thus, the bracelet can be used to speed up slayer tasks the player does not particularly like doing. Note that the bracelet needs to be worn only at the moment you defeat your opponent for the effect to occur. This means that for the rest of the fight, other bracelets or gloves can be worn such as the Barrows gloves.

 

Amulet of Chemistry

(Jade)

 

When equipped, there is a 5% chance to give you an extra dose when brewing potions. The amulet will provide five charges before disappearing.

 

 

Ring Of Returning

(Jade)

 

The initial use for this item is to teleport the player using them to their spawn location but on this server that would prove to be quite useless. I was thinking maybe this item could be used for random teleports closer to clue steps/farming locations. 

 

 

 

There is also alot more silver jewelry that i could have added but none of them really serve beneficial purposes to players using them, If this is considered maybe there could be a suggestion/idea thread on what the other counterparts of silver jewelry could do.

 

 

Pros

An alternative way for people to train crafting that obtain gems from the gem mine

More variety to what people buy on the TP (Expeditious/Slaughters mostly)

Small conveniences that aren't considered OP that people will actually use.

Possible money maker for skillers?

We should be glad that we actually have these tickets as an option to remove people from teams. Although it may seem too much for some, it seems pretty reasonable if I do say so myself. If my team wanted to have a member removed, we would all discuss it before we think about purchasing the ticket. That way, it won't be a waste buying it only for the votes to decline the removal. If each member can contribute the money for a bond for one person to purchase the ticket, I think it's feasible.

 

With that said, as a GIM myself, I am not supporting this suggestion.

Once again another staff member who is not supportive of the update, I definitely can see where this is going....

These are extremely pricey considering all the people playing GIM are ironman and can't afford it. 

The way i see it is that you have to pay $35 because someone else in the game has screwed you over. 

 

Also one thing that i'm curious about is what if you want to leave your GIM group but you can't because nobody will vote you out?

 

(Edit - I notice all the people saying no support are staff and ex staff members... And none of them are GIM. You aren't able to predict what your teammates are going to do regardless of who they are.)




#270998 Donator Pool Change

Currently you can't consistently use the pool for things such as zulrah or barrows because of the cooldown so you can't get special attack constantly and i understand why this is in the game. But would it be possible for the development team to make it so you can use the pool whenever for your HP/Prayer and run(optional) but only restore your special attack once every certain amount of time (Eg. 4 Minutes) 

The reason being is that you grow used to using the pool to restore your stats and it becomes an inconvenience when you can't. Obviously this isn't a crucial update but just a thought to improve the asset :)

The Mist Battlestaff currently doesn't support the runes it is supposed to.

One of our members got one in our group and we can't use it because it has no current use.

It is supposed to give unlimited air and water runes https://oldschoolrun...ist_battlestaff

I'm unsure if the dust staff has the same problem but if this is considered the dust staff should be looked into aswell!
