What's up people, been quite a long break this time but I'm back for a while playing alongside my brother Open Casket on the Realism mode hoping to try something new. The names Adam so you can call me that, it's much preferred. I joined Alora back in 2016 on my original account Oh Du Hast. 

As you know I did my first stream the other day making a change from my older series videos, we peaked at 4 viewers and I think at one point we peaked at 5 which is huge for me even if I chat a bit of shit and I'm still trying to work out the stream mechanics. But all in good fun and spirit right?  

Soooo... Realism?

That's fine, i'll play different games with my spare time instead of investing it here but, to suggest another icon in the chat logs would damage the game is asinine.....much of the player-base already can't trade with other players and lets face it, if you play a normal account and don't pk you're just doing it wrong.

 

I semi-agree that there are 'too many' gamemodes that are similar.... IE Realism is literally what classic should have been when it was released....They ruined EIM by allowing partners......which later they released group iron-man anyway......each mode IMO has been tainted in some fashion though, those 'mistakes' where voted on by the players, those that participated anyway.

 

it's quite possible the game is just getting way to far away from base for me to enjoy it now and i'm looking for anything to keep me drawn in but it's okay, I have plenty of shit I should/could do instead.

lmao you're literally telling me to mix two gamemodes when i'm asking for 1 gamemode and a lower rate.

Let's be real brother, not enough people have enough interest and patience for the quick rate UIM mode let alone a slow rate mode. People just aren't interested in the whole no banking and all that having to drop your items etc. It's just a whole different play-style most people aren't willing to commit to, making it on the bottom end of the scale in regards to popularity with game-modes.

I will say that every game-mode (if) anymore get implemented over the course of however have to be thought out specifically to the point where it doesn't start to make us look stupid as a community having all these game-modes. We need to look back on what game-modes have yielded popularity the most and branch from there if anything, though personally I think Omicron should seal the whole game-mode implementations for now and focus on other things.

Personally i dont see why someone who donates 2500$ or more should have to even pay to begin with as long as there is like a cooldown period between transfers

Let's face it. Most players who are rich didn't do it by emptying their own wallets. There are various get rich quick schemes that have allowed players to jump up to the highest of ranks without actually donating a single dollar of their own money, sure the bonds are present and have been paid for. But that doesn't mean the person donated $2500 dollars to their rank, not a single bit. You can hold 5 bonds, and buy them off 5 different people. Each one of those 5 people has invested their time differently to one another in achieving that bond on that account. But that just comes with the economy and what people choose to do with their time, but that's not the point I'm making here. The point is, it needs to be implemented slowly into the game if anything, the cooldown period is a great idea for sure, that'd stop people abusing it and stop people from changing their minds constantly about what rank they want on what account. It's been 3 years, it has been mentioned before and it seems from an outside perspective that there's some reluctancy in trying to create a system as such that would benefit every donator here. Adding this system would simply change the solidified way that Omicron would have to manouver his money around. See below.

I'm not sure if it does come down to money but look at like this.

We allow players to transfer without a cooldown period and without a fee. What would happen? That'd take a huge portion of Omicrons 'profits on top of profits' away, it's quite obvious from a business perspective. We'd be narrowing down profits if we easily allowed people to transfer ranks, because people wouldn't need to invest into bonds as much as they go around like candy right now. (The good kind of candy) Buuuuut.... props to the person who suggested the money offering in doing so for this for each separate rank. This would allow us to help supplement those losses if we decided to add a fee for each rank transferal. This is why the cooldown period works great, we wouldn't be tampering with the profit system too much because there'd still be the usual way of donating and investing money into separate accounts, while giving some leeway to those who have invested their best in-game efforts and time (because time comes money) to obtain the highest of ranks. I'd just like to mention that Omicron's time (realistically) is priceless, but for pure rawness let's see underneath the situation.   

The cooldown period with a fee is probably the only way that would work, and it makes near to perfect sense in how these two critical things could combat any potential negatives of this suggestion.

Or make the second level features in the gnome area available such as the bank. 

That'd be better and more realistic.

Welcome backkkkkk. It's episode 10! I'm finding it difficult to have any extra time to work on editing and stuffs and improve in certain areas so I'm keeping it simple but interesting in that sense. The intro is open source so I'm not due any credit, though I thought it would add a slight touch to it until I finally get my own intro. I am saving for one though so.

I am having a blast making these episodes right now haha, any suggestions on a new series? We won't be stopping this ofc. The feedback is appreciated too!

Hello and I'm back! Into the full swing as usual. Popping by to drop my video on here for all the forum users. We are back with episode 8 in the series on our second Hardcore account. Everything so far seems to be going to smoothly with the account. We had some setbacks during the recording process which slowed the process down a-lot. I do discuss this towards the end of the video. No flashy intro or anything this video as our computer is barebones at the mo.
