Add Bryophyta & Obor to Alora

Is this in OSRS?:

Yes

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

Unsure

How would this benefit Alora?:

Introduction to Boss Mechanics

1. Learning Opportunity - Brophyta and Obor offer a great way for newer or unexperienced players to learn the basic mechanics of bossing. They provide a less intimidating environment to practice skills such as prayer switching, positioning, and resource management.

2. Skill Development - These bosses can help players build confidence and develop the skills needed for more challenging bosses in the future.

Enhanced Gameplay Experience

1.  Variety - Adding Bryophyta & Obor introduces more variety tot he gameplay, giving players additional content to explore and enjoy.

2. Engagement - These bosses can keep players engaged by offering new challenges and rewards, making the overall experience more dynamic and enjoyable.

Collection Log Expansion

1. New Slots - Including Bryophyta and Obor in the collection log adds more slots for players to complete, providing additional goals and incentives for completionists.

2. Rewards - The unique drops from these bosses can be valuable additions to the collection log, encouraging players to engage with this content.

Community Building

1. Shared Goals - Having more accessible bosses can foster a sense of community as players can team up to tackle these challenges together, share strategies, and celebrate achievements.

2. Supportive Environment - Lower-level skill bosses can help create a more inclusive environment where players of all skill levels feel they have content tailored to their abilities.

Economic Impact

1. Resource Circulation - The drops from Bryophyta and Obor can introduce new items into the economy, providing opportunities for trading and enhancing the in-game market.

2. Accessibility - These bosses can offer value resources and money making methods for newer players, ultimately helping them progress more smoothly through the game.

Conclusion

Introducing Bryophyta and Obor to Alora can significantly enhance the gameplay experience by providing valuable learning opportunities, expanding the collection log, and fostering a more inclusive and engaging community. I believe these additions would be a fantastic way to enrich our server and offer more content for players of all skill levels to enjoy.

Eternal Slayer Helm (i)

02 October 2024 - 12:28 PM

What is your suggestion?:

Ability to combine the Slayer Helm (i) with Eternal Slayer Ring

Is this in OSRS?:

No

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

No

How would this benefit Alora?:

This would benefit Alora players by freeing up an inventory or ring slot within the players worn/inventory. This would add all the current features of the Eternal Slayer Ring to the Slayer Helm (i), basically adding a teleport option, while still retaining it's normal functions. This would also free up a bank space - not a ton, but every space counts especially for players who collect/hoard!

You would only be able to create the helm if you have 99 Crafting & 99 Slayer.

The new options for the Eternal Slayer Helm (i) would be:

Remove, Check, Partner, Log, Rub (Teleport)

Let Us Take A Moment. .

25 September 2024 - 10:57 PM

Hello Alora Community!

As we continue to enjoy our time in the game, let us take a moment to remember those who are currently facing the challenges brought by the active Hurricane Helene. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this devastating storm.

To all our fellow players and their families who may be in the path of the hurricane, please stay safe. Know that the Alora community is here for you, and we are keeping you in our hearts during this difficult time.

Stay strong, and take care.

Farming Spoils . . or Rewards?

25 September 2024 - 10:35 PM

With existing quality-of-life improvements to Farming, many of us find ourselves with an excess of fruits from our tree runs. These fruits are not edible, and have no intended use, often going unused, which feels like a missed opportunity.

What is your suggestion?:

Trading Fruits for Seed Packs or Farming Experience

Is this in OSRS?:

No, this would be a quality of life update specific to Alora.

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

No.

How would this benefit Alora?:

By introducing a system where players can trade in their surplus of fruits for either seed packs or farming experience (that scales with game mode type) will give value to the fruits but also encourage more active participation in the Farming Skill it will benefit Alora by:

- Providing a meaningful use for excess fruits.

- Incentivizes players to engage more with farming activities.

- Offers rewards without being game-breaking.

I believe this feature would add another layer of depth to our pre-existing farming mechanics and make the overall experience more rewarding. I look forward to hearing your thoughts and feedback!

Example Trade In Scale:

Apples (Level 27)

Seed Pack = 225 Apples

or

2,700 EXP x Game Mode Type (Example: Classic > 2,700(5) = 13,500 EXP)

Bananas (Level 33)

Seed Pack = 200 Bananas

or

3,300 EXP x Game Mode Type

Oranges (Level 39)

Seed Pack = 175 Oranges

or

3,900 EXP x Game Mode Type

Curry (Level 42)

Seed Pack = 150 Curry Leaves

or

4,200 EXP x Game Mode Type

Pineapple (Level 51)

Seed Pack = 125 Pineapple

or

5,100 EXP x Game Mode Type

Papaya (Level 57)

Seed Pack = 100 Papaya

or

5,700 EXP x Game Mode Type

Palm (Level 68)

Seed Pack = 75 Coconuts

or

6,800 EXP x Game Mode Type

Calquat (Level 72)

Seed Pack = 50 Calquats

or

7,200 EXP x Game Mode Type

Dragonfruit (Level 81)

Seed Pack = 25 Dragonfruits

or

8,100 EXP x Game Mode Type

ALTERNATIVE OPTION:

Trade 1,000 of any type of fruit (can be a combination of all types) for a 1/5,000 gamble for the Tangleroot pet.

Auto Crafting Birdhouses

25 September 2024 - 08:19 PM

What is your suggestion?

Auto Crafting Birdhouses

Is this in OSRS?:

Yes

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

Not Sure

How would this benefit Alora?:

1. Enhanced Quality of Life

Auto-crafting birdhouses would streamline the process, making it more convenient for players by reducing the repetitive nature of manually crafting them.

2. Increased Engagement

By simplifying the birdhouse crafting process, players might be more inclined to participate in birdhouse runs. This could lead to increased engagement with the Hunter skill.

3. Consistency with OSRS

Aligning Alora's features with those of OSRS can attract players who appreciate the familiarity and consistency between the two games. This could aid in retaining players who enjoy both platforms.

4. Community Appeal

As someone who values a friendly and support community, you might find the quality-of-life improvements like this foster a more positive environment. Players are likely to appreciate the convenience, which can enhance overall satisfaction and camaraderie.

5. Economic Impact

Auto-Crafting birdhouses could also have an impact on the in-game skilling economy. It may lead to a more stable supply of birds nests and seeds, which could benefit various aspects of the skilling community's economy.
