This is already in the game, speak to the 'Emblem Trader' North of Edgeville bank and choose the option "destroy vials after finishing a potion."

It might sound biased as I just got the twisted bow, but I really feel like BP is way too overpowered. Darts are cheap, as gp is worth less in Alora compared to OSRS. You can easily get end game darts and not worry about the GP spent. I feel like magic is useless, melee sometimes too. I got 40M range XP (x5 rates) and I'm not even maxed, simply because I need to use the BP for everything. I'd rather see magic and melee get more use than use blowpipe for everything.
I wonder how you guys feel about it.
Also. I feel like there should be an use/buff for mage in raids. It's way too easy taking only a twisted bow or a BP and melee switch for everything.
We had a similar update not too long ago in which Range in its entirety was nerfed and Magic was buffed. The range changes were reverted within 3 days due to community backlash. I'm not disagreeing with you that the Blowpipe isn't currently the best DPS weapon in the game, however there is always going to be a weapon that's better than the rest. Melee offers a different type of DPS as it comes with a lot stronger defence benefits, and in fact I do choose to use melee in some scenarios. Furthermore, this would be quite unfair to newer players looking to get 200m Ranged exp as players for longer than a year now have been able to use BP in its current state. No support from me, it's the game meta and how it has always been.

Basically every person in this thread missed OP's point entirely, this wouldn't be overpowered in any way. I support making mining a more viable way of obtaining pure ess in some form (ideally the semi-AFK description you gave).
+1 As an early HCIM I had no choice but to bide my time and hit 72 Slayer before being able to gain a substantial amount of essence. I like the semi-afk idea too.

I definitely think some items need to be removed/tinkered with. Cball mould I believe should be lowered to perhaps 10k? I agree that the Zammy Spear doesn't really have a place within the shop, as well as the Amulet. Perhaps Omi would have access to how many times these items have been purchased and could act accordingly. I do like the idea of something like the Herb Boxes that OSRS have for NMZ. These boxes should have a cap on how many can be purchased every 24H to make them not too overpowered.
