#62307 Pet that increases drop rates

I would like to suggest the addition of a pet that could be bought off of the online store for say $100(not with bonds). You can buy the pet with in game gp still, you just have to pay a person to donate in your name. While this pet is your following I suggest it have one of the following effects:

 

Option A: Give an increased drop rate of rare items by 5-10% on each enemy you kill.

 

Option B: Give an extra roll on the drop table of each enemy you kill.

 

 

 

 

I think this would be an awesome addition to the game!! It would help the server generate revenue and also make a lot of players happy!!! Please let me know what you all think by replying =D

The Extreme slayer tasks are very well done on this server but I do think there should be a few additions.

 

  • Armadyl Godwars Boss

         You currently cannot get Kree'arra, the Armadyl Godwards dungeon boss, as an extreme slayer task. I would like to see this added to the Extreme Slayer Task pool. Assign around 5-25 as a task?

 

  • Zamorak Godwars Boss 

         At the moment you cannot obtain the Zamorak godwars boss, K'ril Tsutsaroth, as an Extreme slayer task. I realize that you can get a hard slayer task of Greater Demons and then Zammy GWD counts towards that. But it would be nice to see K'ril Tsutsaroth be assigned as an extreme slayer task.

 

  • Corporeal Beast

         Corp is an Extreme monster to kill no doubt, but you currently cannot have it assigned as slayer task. It would be really nice to see this added as an Extreme slayer task, maybe assign 1-5? Another possibly good idea would be to give the option to buy Corp as a slayer task for a set amount of slayer points (500-1k). Having Corp as a slayer tasks has many benefits such as allowing the Slayer helm give its bonuses while killing it, encouraging more players to go kill corp, and also possibly increasing the amount of Sigils brought into the game.

I think there also needs to be more monsters spawning for certain tasks like kurask, where the only place to kill them can barely sustain 2 people at a time.

It is extremely common for 2-4 people to be at kurasks at a time, and it is beyond frustrating.

 

I also agree with bumping up the amount of spectres per task, its a great task for ironmen but i waste of time most the time because the task size is like 20...

 

Also cant believe that we still cant block / extend tasks........ :FeelsBadMan:

 I agree hex, I plan on posting a lot of Slayer related suggestions. I figured I would divide them up to make them easier to read and respond to.

Slayer is a very popular skill and many players spend a lot of time on it. It only seems logical to improve it. I have a few suggestions regarding hard slayer tasks. 

 

Kourend Catacombs is a beautiful place with tons of awesome monsters. But only about 1/3 of it is being utilized by players. Below I have listed monsters within the Catacombs that I believe should be implemented into the hard slayer task pool.

 

  • Deviant Spectres (lvl 169)

          These are a more gnarly version of the Abberant Spectre. It would be nice if you were able to kill these and they count towards your abberant spectre slayer task. (Also you can only get around 5-45 Ab. spectres as a task atm. I would like to see this changed to 40-100) The Deviant Spectres drop table may need updated aswell.

 

  • Warped Jellies (lvl 112)

          It would be nice to see these as a slayer task. There are more than enough of these in the Catacombs to sustain at least a few slayers at one time. (drop table would most likely need to be adjusted to make them a more desired task)

 

  • Greater Nechraels (lvl 200) & Nechraels

         Nechraels are not even in the hard slayer task pool, so it would be nice to see these added. Having Greater Nechraels count towards the Nechrael task would be even better! There are tons of these in a certain part of the Catacombs. 
 

  • Mutated Bloodvelds (lvl 123)

        There is a nice little group of these within the Catacombs. Making these count towards the normal Bloodveld task would be nice for experienced slayers. These would give better xp than normal Bloodvelds and hopefully better drops as well!

 

 

 

Let me know what you guys think! These updates could bring a lot of players to parts of the game that are rarely explored!

This update makes range with ruby(e) bolts the most efficient way to kill corp now. Something should definitely be done about this. I suggest to either increase the attack speed of the zammy spear to the attack speed of the zammy hasta or reduce the damage of ruby bolt spec. @Omicron @Lowkey

Support!!!!! I love all of these suggestions and have thought of the majority of them myself. The new fire max cape looks so awesome! But I do think that there should be a high requirement to obtain the new fire cape as it would replace all other capes because of it's stats.
