What is your suggestion?: pause the countdown on ingame vote exp after a set amount of time being idle.

How would this benefit Alora?: as we all know, the second you use a vote book, the timer will tick down wether you choose to use the exp bonus or not. i suggest adding a timer that will put a pause on vote exp ticking down after a set amount of time being idle. the vote exp will then ofcourse continue ticking down the instant you perform any action whatsoever ingame. it would allow players who choose to leave their accounts logged in overnight for example or who choose to leave the pc for irl things to not have to worry about constantly having to micromanage their vote exp books. maybe after sometime like 15 minutes of the game detecting you being completely idle, the exp bonus pauses untill you perform an action again.

I feel like we get spoon fed enough on Alora, tbh. If you find it hard to focus or are juggling multiple things, try not to use vote books too much. Or, as Setup mentioned, just log out. Many servers don’t let you pause vote bonuses when you’re logged out, so we’re pretty fortunate to have that option here.

Fully support this. Pausing vote XP after a certain of inactivity is a smart QoL change. It saves vote books from being wasted while AFK and resumes naturally when you’re active again.

I do think there is something like this already, though not sure how it works, as my iron has had BXP for far longer than activated. That said, I do agree that we should be able to pause the timer with inactivity.

I think there's gotta be some trade off if this was implemented, like at what point is it easier to just logout? 

 

Maybe something like it ticks down at half speed at idle time. Realistically you get at least a single vote book a day unless you buy them etc so it's not super rare.

I can see how this could be good. I was kinda disagreeing til you said 15min afk timer. Makes sense for people who just wanna stay logged in. You can pause it yourself by logging by anyways so why not. Support.

Neutral i guess, i mean you can just logout if you are going to be afk for longer than a few minutes.
