[Full Update] [21/03/25] Leagues 5.0 is LIVE! - Updates - Alora

[24/03/25] Fixes/Changes:
- Leagues:
  - Players can now interact with the Altar underneath the Pyramid in the Desert region.
  - Fixed a bug where max capes could not be equipped.
  - Al-Kharid gates will no longer work for league players.
  - Players with the arcane grimoire can now swap to any spellbook, even if they don't have the necessary region unlocked.
  - Colosseum echo orb will no longer be deleted upon entering.
  - Normal Kalphite Queen will no longer use the Echo boss lightning attack.
  - Echo Hespori will now spawn if you enter with the Kourend echo orb.
  - Boss Tasks that can now be assigned:
    - Tirannwn:
      - Zulrah
    - Morytania:
      - Barrows Brothers
  - The Castle Drakan teleport on the Clue compass will no longer place you in a bugged location.
  - The "Steal from the Spice Stall in Civitas Illa Fortis" task will now work as intended.

  - Crystal implings will now give Dragonstone amulet instead of Dragonstone amulet (u), allowing you to properly complete the associated task.
  - A bug which prevented players from speaking to Minimus in the Colosseum has been fixed.

Leagues 5.0 Is Officially Live!
Hello everyone,

Leagues 5.0 has begun! You can now log in on a fresh account and select the option in the tutorial to sign it up for Alora Leagues. This has to be on a brand new account (which will be deleted at the end of the tournament on April 11th). We're super excited to hop into this new league with you all! We know that some of you have some questions about the game mode and tournament, so we've compiled a quick FAQ to answer any questions that you may have, as well as the prizes:

Leagues FAQ

How do I earn points?
- Points can be earned by completing tasks.
What can I do with points?
- At the end of the tournament, points will be transferred to your main account and then they can be spent in the Leagues Reward Shop. This shop includes all of the Trailblazer Reloaded rewards from OSRS (and previous League rewards), including:
  - Leagues Trophies
  - Echo home teleport scroll
    - Unlocks the Echo home teleport animation
  - Echo death scroll
    - Unlocks the Echo death animation
  - Echo npc contact scroll
    - Unlocks the Echo NPC Contact spell animation
  - Echo spirit tree scroll
    - Cosmetic override for Spirit tree in Player-owned house.
  - Raging Echoes Banner

How can I see who has the most points?
- There is a Scoreboard right at the League player spawn point in Kourend, which will list the top 30 players based on points.
What is the experience rate?
- The experience rate is 8x, but increases to 12x once you have selected your tier 4 relic, and finally increased to 16x after selecting your tier 7 relic.
  - There are also numerous relics that will effective double your experience in certain skills, so you can get up to 32x potentially if you choose the right relic.
Can I trade other players?
- Trading is disabled. You can not trade players at all (or pick up their items), and if you die nobody can loot your items.
  - Drop-trading to main accounts is also not allowed, and items will simply disappear off of the ground if you attempt to do so.
    - This is due to the increased drop rate on League accounts.
Can I go to Edgeville/Wilderness/Etc?
- League players are locked to Kourend initially, but can unlock Karamja, Morytania, Desert, Varlamore and (new) Tirannwn regions.
  - In this league, you can unlock a new region of your choosing after a certain number of task completions:
    - 1st: 1 task
    - 2nd: 90 tasks
    - 3rd: 200 tasks
    - 4th: 400 tasks
- If you complete 400 tasks, you will have unlocked 4 regions, meaning that at most, a player can only unlock 4/5 unlockable regions, so you will have to choose wisely.
- If you are able to escape these areas, you will simply be teleported back home.
Do I start at level 3?
- Yes, you will start on a fresh level 3 account and select the option to sign up for Leagues in the tutorial.
  - You will start with level 3 Herblore and level 15 Agility, but all other stats are level 1.
Will I see other non-league players?
- You will see normal players as well, but we have instanced a few key dungeons to allow for more space to train. For example, the Kourend catacombs have two exclusive instanced maps for League players online. We want to allow players to interact on the same world without splitting the player base.
Where can I bank?
- There are numerous banking locations in Zeah, but the most important one will be upstairs in Kourend castle, right next to your home teleport.
Can I train construction?
- Certainly! You can purchase a house from the Estate agent south of the Kourend Castle for a reduced rate of 2.5m coins (usually 10m).
- You can even do Mahogany Homes contracts from Angelo, right next to the Estate Agent.
Can I train Slayer?
- You can train Slayer via Konar, who will allow you to start far earlier than normal accounts (only requires level 5 combat). You will only receive tasks that are in regions you’ve unlocked.
  - Player’s who’ve unlocked the Karamja region can obtain non-location based slayer tasks from Duradel.
Can I donate for items?
- League players cannot donate for items in the store. Any tokens that you purchase will be transferred to your main account once the League ends, or can be transferred sooner upon request.
Can I donate for rank?
- You may donate to obtain rank benefits, but this is capped at Extreme donator ($250 rank). After this tier, you will no longer obtain the higher rank benefits (eg. Legendary and onwards) to reduce the advantage that donator ranks give. All donator ranks will be auto-transferred to your main account (which you link when you first create your League account) at the end of the tournament.
Can I transfer bonds, Rank tickets or boosters to my account?
- You can only transfer Bonds and Rank tickets to your Leagues account.
Can I use a booster on my account?
- No, boosters have been disabled on League accounts.
Can vote books be used on League accounts?
- You can open vote books on League accounts, but the bonus experience rates are reduced to 25% instead of 50%. The 5% Raids bonus still applies, as does the Slayer point bonus.
- You must claim the auth directly on the League account, as you cannot transfer vote books from your main.
  - To ensure fairness, there is also an auth claiming cooldown which only allows a League player to claim an auth code every 3 hours (8 Vote books in total in a 24-hour period).
Will the Well of Goodwill and other XP boosts work on League accounts?
- Most experience boosts are disabled for League players, including the Well of Goodwill, Skill of the Day, and other event experience bonuses.
What happens to my account at the end of the tournament?
- Your account becomes locked, and you will be kicked out of the game within a few seconds after you log in. Essentially, the account is wiped and can no longer be played on. Your points, store tokens and donator rank are immediately transferred to your main account.
When can I spend my points?
- Points can be spent at the end of the tournament, at 7pm Eastern Time on April 11th, 2025. The shop will continue to be available afterwards, so you can spend them whenever you’d like (or even save points for future League rewards).
Which regions of the game are available to me?
- Throughout the league, players will be able to access the Kourend, with the option to unlock Varlamore, Karamja, Desert, Morytania and Tirannwn regions of the game. You can choose which to unlock once you complete a specified numbers of tasks (see earlier FAQ for thresholds), but can only ever unlock 4 out of 5 of the possible regions.

- The following dungeons are instanced and can be entered by using the 2nd right-click option (Enter Leagues Instance):

  - Region Unlocking:
    - This league, rather than unlocking all the regions as players unlock new relics, they will now be able to choose 5/6 available regions as they complete tasks and progress.
    - Players will begin in the Kourend region, with it automatically unlocked, and be able to unlock the Morytania, Varlamore, Karamja, Desert, and Tirannwn regions.
      - Second region unlock:
        
        1 task completion required.
      - Third region unlock:
        
        90 total task completions required.
      - Fourth region unlock:
        
        200 total task completions required.
      - Fifth region unlock:
        
        400 total task completions required.
    - Unlocking the Morytania region will provide players with a Drakan’s medallion.
  - Raids Megarare Vouchers:
    - This league, when players complete the Theatre of Blood, Chambers of Xeric, and Tombs of Amascut, instead of obtaining the corresponding mega-rare item (Scythe of Vitur, Twisted Bow, Tumeken’s Shadow), they will instead obtain a voucher than they use to claim any of the 3 mega-rare items.
      - This can only be done at the home area.
  - Echo Bosses:
    - Each region has a specific boss that players will be able to take on in a harder “echo” variant.
      - Players can do so by killing the normal boss, and obtaining the corresponding echo orb to challenge the echo boss.
    - Rewards:
      - Sol Heredit:
        
        Sol heredit (echo) will drop the Sunlit Bracers and the Sunlight Spear:
        
        Sunlit bracers:
        
        These bracers, when equipped, will double any base healing received from sources such as the amulet of blood fury, blood spells, guthan’s, etc..
        
        The effect does not double modifiers, such as the Zuriel’s staff/bloodbark effect on blood spells.
        
        Sunlight Spear:
        
        This is a powerful spear that can charge up special attack stacks, one for every time the players attacks with it, up to 20 stacks.
        
        It has a unique special attack that consumes 7 stacks, attacking all enemies in a 3x3 area with typeless damage.
        
        The damage is also boosted by 3% for every prayer bonus the player has.
      - Kalphite Queen:
        
        Drygore Blowpipe:
        
        This is slightly weaker version of the toxic blowpipe, but has no special attack and does not require zulrah’s scales to use.
      - Grotesque Guardians:
        
        Gloves of the Damned:
        
        These have the same stats as Barrow’s gloves, but also apply the effect of the Amulet of the Damned.
      - Corrupted Hunllef:
        
        Crystal Blessing:
        
        This blessing provides +5 prayer bonus, and allows all melee weapons to take advantage of the accuracy/damage bonus of crystal armour.
      - Hespori:
        
        Nature’s Reprisal:
        
        This is a very powerful weapon that can attack with magic/range/melee, similar to salamanders, but more powerful, having an attack range of 7 tiles.
  - Miscellaneous changes:
    - General Drop rate boosts:
      - Tier 2 unlocks 2x drop rate.
      - Tier 5 unlocks 3x drop rate.
      - Tier 7 unlocks 5x drop rate.
    - Raid Drop rates:
      - NOTE: The ToB/ToA boosts below also compound with the relic unlock drop rate boosts, so your rate might be up to 5x easier if you have unlocked the highest relic.
      - In Theatre of Blood (Hard Mode), the purple rate will no longer be divided amongst the entire team, but will rather be the same rate per-player.
        
        For example, the Hard Mode purple rate is 1/6.48 for the entire team on non-Leagues, that means a 2-player team would each have a 1/12.96 rate. On Leagues, it would remain 1/6.48 for both players.
      - In Tombs of Amascut, team-wide purples will be awarded when the Raid Level is 500 or greater. This means that if the team hits a purple, every player on the team will get their own, unique purple.
    - A second Kourend Catacombs instance has been added for Leagues players (2 in total, as well as the normal dungeon that is shared with non-League players).
    - 12 additional Grey chinchompa spawns have been added to the Kourend Woodland hunting area.
    - Dwarven rock cake has been added to the Vote shop for 100 points.
    - Sage’s axe will now kill instantly kill that have 20% hitpoints or less (previously 15%).
    - Zulrah can now be attacked with Melee by Leagues players.
    - Leagues players can now only claim vote auths once every 3 hours (8 total auth claims per 24 hours).
    - "Solo Chambers of Xeric in X minutes" tasks will no longer work unless you are solo (previously worked in multi-player parties).
    - Araxyte fang can be combined with an Amulet of fury to create the Amulet of Rancour.
    - Molch pearls will now be 25% easier to obtain on Leagues accounts.
    - Lizardman shaman league task amounts have been reduced 50% on average, from:
      - Old: 100/500/1000/500/5000/10000
      - New: 100/250/500/1000/2500/5000
    - Hydra league task amounts have been reduced by 50% on average, from:
      - Old: 1/25/50/75/100/250/500/1000/1500/2000/2500
      - New: 1/10/25/50/75/125/250/500/750/1000/1250
    - Chambers of Xeric task amounts have been reduced by 50% on average, from:
      - 1/25/50/75/100/250/500/750/1000
      - 1/10/25/50/75/150/250/400/500
    - Mahogany Homes task amounts have been reduced by 50% on average, from:
      - Old: 1/20/25/50/75/150/200/250/300/500/750/1000/1250/1500
      - New: 1/20/25/50/75/100/125/150/200/300/400/500/750/1000
      - Point changes:
        
        To reflect the change in task amount, a few of the tasks have reduced point value:
        
        200 Mahogany homes task (previously 500) now give 100 points instead of 250.
        
        300 Mahogany homes task (previously 750) now gives 250 points each instead of 500.
Pet House Changes:
- The capacity for the pet house has been doubled for all pet house types (a maximum of 114 pets with the nature house).
- The “Allow pets to roam” option now properly works when disabled.
- Players can now store duplicate pets in the pet house.
Quality of Life:
- Reduced the price of goldsmith/ice gloves from the loyalty point shop.
- Eternal donators can now select the amount of boss kills they want on Wilderness slayer tasks.
- Increased the drop rate of mossy keys and giant keys.
- Players can now speak 1 tick sooner after finishing a gamble (eg. Flower poker).
- Pot sizes at ::gamble will now be formatted better if they are >1B. For example, "24000M pot" will now be "24B pot".
- The obelisk will not use any special attacks for the first few seconds of the phase 2 warden fight.
- The collector will now log Attas/Kronos/Iasor seeds.
- Players can now store double the amount of pets in their pet house for each pet house type.
- Players can now get a Wilderness zombies task from Krystillia.
- Smoke devils will now move on top of each other freely.
- Players can now store the Varlamore graceful outfit in their POH Magic wardrobe.
- Hunllef’s magic / range attacks have been slowed down to be more avoidable / better prayed against.
Bug Fixes:
- The iban's staff now requires 50 attack and 50 magic to equip.
- Clue compass STASH unit teleports will no longer place you on an unwalkable tile. (League)
- Passing through the barriers in the Gauntlet will now be done without a delay, and will not lock your character for as long.
- Fixed a bug where players still needed 72 mining to unlock the upper level of Motherlode mine when using golden nuggets.
- Fixed a bug where removing an item from a bank tab without having placeholders enabled would cause items from the previous tab to shift.
- Fixed a bug with the crystalline portal nexus not showing all of the player's unlocked teleports.
- Fixed a bug where the Dual Macuahuitls were dealing double damage to the warden’s core.
- Players can no longer safespot duke sucellus with a halberd.
- Fixed a bug where the drop searcher wouldn't show gauntlet pet/drop booster increases.
- Fixed a bug where some double-hit special attacks would not register in certain minigames/raids.
- Long-tailed / Taloned Wyvern ancient visage drop rate fixed.
- Attacking a monster that is behind objects (eg. Across the Wilderness ditch) would previously not move your character at all. Your character will now attempt to get as close to the enemy as possible to see if you can get into attackable range, and will give you 15 seconds (or 1 second if using Melee) before canceling the attack and displaying the "I can’t reach that!" message.
- Fixed a bug with negative zulrah killcount showing on the collection log on mobile.
- Fixed a bug with the right-click options on the slayer ring (eternal).
- Fixed a bug with the jar of eyes drop rate being too high.
- The Next skill of the day will now show the correct skill.
- Fixed a bug with the ::wiki command not working properly.
- The tumeken’s shadow now has the correct attack range.
- Fixed a bug where players on mobile could not zoom in after opening the supply bag in the Tombs of Amascut.
- Fixed a bug where the inventory max cape options weren't working properly.
- Players can now damage bryophyta the moment all growthlings are dead or dying.
- Bryophyta’s growthling attack will now happen less frequently after being used.
- Tears of guthix will no longer give combat experience if the player's combat skills are locked.
- Chiseling dark essence should now automatically continue after chiseling one or more dark essence blocks.
- Players can now fire sapphire bolts (e) out of the dragon hunter crossbow.
- Reduced the speed of the "Crossbow" weapon.
- Fixed a bug with the Hill Giant Club drop rate from Obor being too low.
- Oldschool jumper (from Birthday event) can now be reclaimed for 100k GP if lost on death.
- Attas and anima seeds will now be logged in the collection log from Hespori.
- Players will now auto retaliate when attacked by Scurrius.
- Fixed an issue where only one player could get the royal titans speed task at a time.
- Fixed a bug where trying to use the boaty on Molch island from the northern-most tile would not give players an option to sail anywhere.
- Added 3 more moss giant spawns to the west chamber in the Giant's Den.
- Fixed a bug where players could not teleport after completing a lap of the Colossal Wyrm Agility Course.
- Fixed a bug where sometimes doing the basic Colossal Wyrm Agility Course would count as advanced laps.
- Guardians will no longer be spawned when a Guardians of the Rift game is ending.
Game announcements expansion:
- Collection log milestones:
  - A news message will be sent at 50, 100, 250, and every 250 collection log items unlocked thereafter (eg. 500, 750, etc).
- Player kills (total):
  - While killstreaks are already announced, total kills aren’t. They will now be announced at 250, 500, 750, 1,000 and every 500 kills thereafter.
- Skill experience:
  - Rather than only announcing when 200m experience is reached, the server will also announce when a player reaches 50m, 100m and 150m experience for a given skill.
- Total experience:
  - A player’s total experience will be announced at the following thresholds: 250m, 500m, 750m 1b, and every 500m thereafter.
Collection log viewing:
- You can now right-click the Collection log button in the quest tab to view other players’ collection logs, if they are online.
  - This will show you all of their items, killcounts, etc as if it were your own collection log.
Hiscores update:
- Scurrius, Obor and Bryophyta boss killcounts and killtimes can now be viewed on the hiscores.
- Obor is now properly displayed on the RuneLite Hiscores lookup.
