Hello everyone,

With the recent release of our fifth Alora Leagues tournament, we're really excited to hear everyone's feedback about the mode, what they think about it, and how we can improve your experience. We'd like to hear any feedback you have regarding changes that can be made in any and all ways to improve the League. This includes changes to tasks (e.g. reduce 25 Master clue collection log slots to 15), as well as even adding new tasks that would be a fun challenge for players.

We're also looking to hear your feedback about balancing relics that may be underpowered or overpowered. We've expanded this league to include a new region (Tirannwn), a few relics from the recent edition of Raging Echoes League, and lastly the new Echo bosses.

We want the experience to be as enjoyable as possible, so if there is any content in these areas that is missing to improve the game mode, let us know and we'll implement it given that it can be done within a reasonable time frame.

We hope you're enjoying our fifth Leagues iteration, and we're looking forward to hearing your feedback!

Engage's FULL Feedback

Relics

 

Overpowered: 
Trickster: Is insanely stronger than any other relic in tier 1 that it creates such a huge landslide 
Underpowered:

 Weapon specialist: Without more spec weapons its severely underpowered (aka no GWD, no voidwaker/thunder khopesh etc)

???:

Areas

For all future leagues, Karamja/Misthalin should be auto unlocked with the ability to unlock a maximum of 3-4 other regions

 

XP Rates

Increase Starter xp rates to 10x, to then increase to then 20x, 32x then finalize at 50x (5x the original xp rate)

All Global boosts should also apply to League players, this is a temporary game mode that's supposed to be fast so people can rush the content they want to do/complete tasks.

 

Shop prices

Apparently theres descripencies with different locations having different prices for the same items, and a big complaint has been just how expensive everything is, all shops should have custom prices being cheaper for Leagues players

2 Worlds

Honestly just seperate/add a 2nd world for leagues players, so many people were confused seeing people at lvl 126 the moment they login I know some immediately logged off thinking they had no chance/people were cheating, plus league players dont want to see/compete with any main gamer for any type of content such as fighting over trees/hunter npcs etc.

Skilling

Specifically for leagues, double the rate at which we complete skilling actions, it takes way too long to get a full inventory or karambwans/iron ore etc. Its supposed to be fast, limited time mode faster content.

 

Combat Masteries

The players want it

 

Competition/prizes

Add a F2P bracket, for those who never have any $$/tokens added to their league acct can compete ONLY for the F2P prizes and those who put atleast $10 are competing for the donation prices
The F2P prices can look like this: First F2P Player to complete the infernal (500 Tokens)
First F2P Player to complete the barrows CL (300 Tokens)
Most Tasks completed by a F2P Player (Special role on discord + 1000 Tokens)
Most points on a F2P account (Either 400m OSRS GP or Alora tokens, their choice)
Etc.
Only fair + adds more competition, I know for a fact theres people who REFUSE to play the competition because the idea of P2W/Not wanting to donate/wanting to challenge themselves against other F2P players

Combat Triangle

Melee is by far the strongest without question and has the most versatility and options, so how can we make it more balanced;
Range: Add either 100% accuracy (never miss) or add 5x accuracy so u rarely miss 
Magic: Increase 300% accuracy because splashing is what makes magic useless

As a strictly mobile player I feel like runecrafting needs to be addressed because Arceuus library you don't get a plug-in on mobile and it takes way too long to find the books yeah I could waste my area unlock on the desert for gotr but that doesn't feel right

Wondering if the Guarding T8 Relic choice is meant to do AoE? It is currently not doing AoE in multi when applicable.

 

From the OSRS Leagues Wiki:

  • In multicombat areas, the guardian thrall will attempt to cast an area-of-effect attack if the primary target is weak to ranged or magic. This can be toggled via the guardian horn.

Echo Grotesque Guardians - The fight isn't meant to be the exact same as the regular fight, but putting that aside:

Dusk hits way too hard and hits through prayer (melees 35s through prayer and his ranged attacks on final phase hurt too)

 

A simple fix would be to let both be able to be hit by any style if you don't want to re-program the whole fight to be like osrs' echo gg fight

The gloves are nerfed and don't boost barrows set effects anyway so I think the above should be a nice compromise (was this also a design choice or was it left out?)
