What is your suggestion?: post a detailed and bullet pointed list of every single bug in the game and which ones you may use and which ones you may not.

Is this in OSRS?: no

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: no

How would this benefit Alora?: currently there are SO MANY bugs and broken mechanics on so many different minigames and bosses/skills that its hard to keep track of what you can and cannot participate in without getting muted/banned. currently it seems like some people are getting banned for one thing, while others are being banned for another but not for something someone else has originally been banned for. either ban nobody who has to play around/use bugs (because lets be honest if we all avoided bugs we might aswell just log off because of how many there are) or ban everyone. you cant have it both ways. please post a clearly detailed and indepth bulletpointed list of every single bug thats currently going to result in punishment because its hard to tell at this point which ones will result in some form of account action and which ones wont.

Support. Would help to have visibility into this, and help us know what is/is not acceptable. Some things are enforced, others are not. There should be consistency in enforcement. And it's hard to hold people accountable for things that may be unknown to them. Not everyone plays OSRS. Not everyone knows every mechanic. Give them the benefit of the doubt, warn and educate them. That's the sensible, adult response. We can hot fix certain things, and remove clogs and go about our day but then perm ban for something else instead of doing the same? But more effort into fixing these issues, instead of punishing people for using them. Thank you :)

Absolutely. The fact that so much content on Alora is specifically made to be easier with so many mechanics missing ON PURPOSE - how on earth are we supposed to know when certain boss mechanics are missing AS A BUG / BY MISTAKE. We absolutely need clarity on this in light of recent bans over something so petty at an already easy boss.

-this is variant btw-
Although I doubt they’d openly post bugs in chance that people will abuse, as a victim of this I 100% support this.

Example: not taking damage from minotaur in colosseum (making the invo where you can’t safe spot it free) is an “intended” bug, free for abuse. While using a noxious hallys 1 tile distance to attack at duke is NOT allowed and will result in a week long ban, or warning depending on who the player is (I guess?)

Also listing OSRS mechanics that alora players MUST know to avoid being punished should also be listed.

I was told that avoiding damage = report but I didn’t avoid damage and actually died multiple times there (maybe a skill issue?)

Support! With whatever transpired in the last day or so, I feel something that's terribly lacking is communication. Some actions are being taken on a way too serious note when it is not necessarily the players fault.

I’d like to add to this on the miscommunication part, I was told I was “monitored for hours” doing this. A simple pm or tele to me and say “hey don’t do this” could have made this whole drama fest a non issue, for me and many others, instead they decide to postpone any action and give me a perm ban, reduced to a week long ban for what? Now I’m losing a nearly (or possibly over) 100 day login streak, chance for any forum awards for 3 months, and potential future punishments to be even more severe because this is now my history. Why am I and saeed singled out with bans while many others got warnings? People that have done more kc than me, people who did the wyvern thing as well (while saeed didn’t even partake in the wyvern bug)

They can choose whether or not to go lightly, or harshly on someone. They chose to enforce it because you never shush, and always shiz on them, as you know best. I’d just take the week off and touch some grass, maybe clean your room.

This suggestion, however, is good. It would be a nice implementation.

We can't know every bug that exists in-game, we rely on players to report them in the bug report section so that we can be made aware of them and fix them accordingly. If you are uncertain about whether a mechanic is a bug or intended behavior, it's best to double-check with a staff member and/or report it anyway just to be safe.

Use your judgement in these situations -- if you are participating in end-game content and a bug allows you to take no damage for an entire fight (or even the majority of a fight), it is likely not allowed / not intended as end-game bosses are not supposed to be a walk in the park. Even if you think it is allowed, err on the side of caution and ask a staff member so that we have records of you having asked, that way you have a valid excuse if you are found abusing a bug.

As for creating a list of bugs, this isn't ideal for us as we don't want all of the bugs present in the game to be publicly visible, otherwise it would increase the potential for abuse. Once again, feel free to ask a staff member (or myself) via PMs if a certain bug is allowed.
