Hello guys, I've been playing Alora for quite a while now and I've made many accounts with different shticks, mostly region locked ironmen or tileman mode accounts. Lately I have been wanting to start a new kind of locked account and the idea I came up with is : Poorman Mode!

What is Poorman Mode? To be honest I'm still working on the idea but here is the gist:

This account is one that I would want to do exclusively or livestream or at least make videos for. I would be brand new to this sort of thing so it would require a lot of effort on my end.

The amount of gold that is held on the account would be the threshold to the total worth of items I can have. This would include the price of gear, supplies and skilling items. Items would be valued from their prices on the Runelite plugin.

Before or when the account is created I will hold a poll to see what kind of restrictions there should be on the account. I am already thinking that Caskets should be banned and the thieving stalls at home should also be banned as that could be an incredibly cheesy way of building a cash stack. Certain mobs can drop high amounts of coins at a time as well however I'm not sure what all do this, some community feedback about mobs with unbalanced coin drops would be appreciated.

I want to include viewer feedback on this account a lot, so I was wanting to also include polls based on suggestions for forfeits occasionally. A forfeit can include losing a certain amount of money or specific items that have already been obtained on the account. The frequency of these forfeits can also be up for debate.





Things to be decided: What version of Ironman

I will probably add more to this concept in the future as I'm not 100% sure I want to follow through with this, I will probably wait to see what you all think. Is this something you'd like to see a lot of? Would you attend livestreams or would you rather me just make videos on progress?

I absolutely love the concept of unique accounts like this! I think if you were to do a series on this, that you'd likely get great feedback. Personally I'd run a HC but that's just personal

Awesome! I agree that hardcore would be the way to go but you could poll it as well.

 

I also think if you livestream you should also upload videos in case people miss things if you have the time and all to do both

I'm a fan of snowflake accounts so, whatever you decide to do, i'd love to see some progress on it

Interesting concept! Livestreaming is fun since you get some interaction with the audience but it's timezone reliant. Not everyone will be able to tune in so I'd recommend doing both!

so much potential and alot of things you could do.

 

i would personally pick up all casket /keep money from slayer/stalls, then u can only hold on to like 10% of the money you made,

 

so you could use the rest for giveaway to your follower/ put in well. so the more progress you make, the more fun it become for you and your follower, knowing there is a reward for

 

everybody at the end ^^

Interresting way of playing the game! I would start with making video's and slowly get used to it before you start streaming. Making video's and streaming are two completely different ways of making content. Best of luck!
