Buff Dragonstone armour drop rate from elven crystal chest

 

Is this in OSRS?:

Yes

 

With Alora 1.23x rate adjustment, the 1/500 osrs rate should be 1/406.5

If you include donor rank bonuses, the drop rate should definitely be better than 1/400

 

Currently on Alora, the rate is likely closer to 1/1,000

 

Personally, I've only received 1/5 pieces in over 800 rolls (with master donor rank)

Which is way too many rolls for an RSPS

There is no reason for Alora drop rates to be worse than OSRS

The handful of people that I know that have gone for this armor set have all been super dry. It's anecdotal but it seems that donor ranks don't apply and should be buffed. Support from me

survivor bias is not a good look for admins, i agree this chest needs a buff, although rng gana rng either way 2k keys for 4 pieces on a rsps is shit, my osrs acc has better loot in less keys

You're making it seem like the keys give absolute dogshit if you don't get the armour. You still get incredible loot without it.

took phanny phart 4.3k keys iirc to get all 5 pieces

Did the same buff to brimstone chests, and with the argument of incredible loot we still buffed that piece of content, so why not this one also? Support

Without doing a proper test on the drop rates, for me personally, it’s hard to determine whether these drop rates are reflecting the Alora increase or not.

RNG is a fickle piece of shit.
I’ve been fortunate to receive a piece of Dragonstone in only 135 chests that I’ve opened.
But at the same time my EIM took ~1,600 kills for a trident.

Again, another suggestion to "Buff" rates due to going dry somewhere.

 

At the end of the day, all items on the collection log aren't meant to be "easy", it all comes down to RNG. And as H said on BOTH threads, you can practically buy the keys, for your game-mode, it should be an easier alternative for you considering you can trade. 

 

To me, it just seems like you've gone unlucky, you'll eventually get the drop.
