What is your suggestion?:

Currently, the top damage dealer at skotizo will receive an upgrade to an emblem they have in their inventory. My suggestion is to make it so that if the player has no emblem in their inventory, the emblem they receive as a drop gets upgraded instead.

How would this benefit Alora?:

 Players that don't bring emblems to begin with can still make use of the upgrade

Neutral on this, bringing less risk for a better reward doesn't sit well with me especially considering how dead the wildy is but I also believe its not a huge deal so I'll say neutral.

Question for you:

If you don't bring an emblem, why do you deserve an upgrade?

 

Example:

If you don't bring pure essence, then you don't craft any runes at altar.

Similarly, if you don't risk an emblem, you don't upgrade any emblems at skotizo.

The whole point of the emblem upgrade is that you risked it during the fight, when other players could've killed you for it.

Bypassing that risk and getting rewarded afterwards defeats the purpose.
