[Cabin Fever]

I can’t wrap my head around why you can loot random bloody key drops at level 57 combat, but cannot open the bloody chest until you’re level 90 combat. It would be way riskier for lower-level combat players to escape after looting the bloody chest, too.

 

The combat levels for pures are often between 76 and 90, so it’d be nice if pures below level 90 combat had the chance to open the bloody chest.

I wonder why the level cap was put in place to begin with? Maybe staff can chime in

Was made that way so you can be attacked by pretty much every player when you loot it(+/- 53 combat levels), or else people would just open the chest on some nooby 50 combat account and eliminate the risk of losing the loot to other players.

 

I wouldn't mind if the combat level requirement got dropped to 80, but that's as far as I'd go.

We shouldn’t limit the bloody chest to just the maxed main PKers... Pures should have the opportunity too. And let’s not forget, pures in the 79-89 combat range are still vulnerable to 126s, so it’s actually riskier for them.

I feel as long as its within being within cmb lvl of 126's it'd suffice. I totally get why its in place and do agree with it. It would be nice to use on lower tier accounts. But, how would you regulate it for eco purposes is my concern as stated above.
