Hello everyone,
It has been a while since we last posted one of these development blogs, so now felt like the right time to post one to get all of you up to speed with what we have been working on recently, which will hopefully build some excitement.
Without further ado, lets dive right in.
MASTERING MIXOLOGY
Overview:
First of all, we have Mastering Mixology. A herblore minigame that revolves around assisting the Alchemical Society in filling out orders of potions, which have skyrocketed after Varlamore opened its borders to the mainland.
Gameplay:
To keep it short, Mastering Mixology involves refining herbs into their basic elements and using the resulting pastes to brew potions based on the order given.
Rewards:
Supervisor Lalo runs the store Mixology Rewards where players can spend your resin earned by playing the minigame.
Potion packs - A potion pack that grants four sets of potions with varying quantities and doses.
Prescription goggles - Grants a 10% chance to save a secondary ingredient when mixing potions.
Alchemist's outfit - A cosmetic outfit.
Reagent pouch - Stores up to 26 of each secondary ingredient used in herblore.
Potion storage - Unlocks a new part of the bank where potions can be stored without taking up slots from the main bank interface.
Chugging barrel - Allows simultaneous consumption of up to five different potions when within a bank.

MOONS OF PERIL
Overview:
Next up, we have Moons of Peril. The Moons of Peril are three nagua imprisoned in Neypotzli, a prison located beneath Cam Torum.
This is a new mid level pvm activity that is a step up in difficulity from content such as Barrows. This content can be approached solo, or with a team. Although nothing is stopping you from bringing supplies and racing to the bosses right away, its worth your time to explore the surroundings. Every room contains both combat and skilling opportunities, allowing you to accumulate food and potions and ready yourself for the difficult fights.
Gameplay:
The player's trip into Neypotzli begins in the antechamber, expanding outwards along three accessible entrances. Each of these - the Streambound Cavern, Earthbound Cavern, and the Ancient Prison - have different resources where players can create food and potions that are more powerful than even the best found outside.
Once the player is ready, they can proceed to face the Moons of Peril; the three bosses share a unique mechanic where their basic attack will hit three times, each dealing more damage than the last; however, if one hit misses, the remainder will as well. This means having good defence bonuses will result in less damage taken overall.
While they can be fought by multiple players simultaneously, the boss' health is tied to individual players, meaning each player will effectively have to deal all damage on their own.
Rewards:
Blood moon armour - a set of melee equipment with the Bloodrager set effect.
Blue moon armour - a set of magic equipment with the Frostweaver set effect.
Eclipse moon armour - a set of ranged equipment with the Eclipse set effect.
