What is your suggestion?: Cox is a staple to OSRS gameplay these days, I understand the purpose of making some parts of it easier for private server speed etc. But I don't understand why we have changed so much in what is already fun content. IE: Reducing points so much, removing safe spot on ice demon, 2 phases of olm before head phase (this one could stay or go tbf), Olm head + mechanics just operating different in general.  TLDR: Make CoX more it actually is in OSRS w/ mechanics + points you receive. Keep the good parts such as vesp being easier, shamans having less health etc. QoL is good, but not just outright trivializing olm, or removing parts that are actually QoL such as ice demon safe spot.

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No

How would this benefit Alora?: Personally, I did my first few raids last night as was pretty turned away by the content, I was grinding because I was stoked to jump into raids on here but it was so different that it was almost not fun or engaging.

Honestly, we're a Private Server and these changes have been made to make the content more accessible to the average player. Ice Demon can still be safespotted, you just have to run it at the door, but even then, it doesn't make sense that you want Olm to be harder but ice demon to be easier?

@ Orangepike More points + olm actually making sense = more fun. Plus its not hard to learn, I would teach learners on osrs all the time, Base CoX is extremely easy to learn and most people go deathless within a few runs. Its not about "ice demon being easier, and making olm harder" its just about making it similar to how it operates on osrs because the raid was already plenty fine and fun there. If mid-end game content is too trivial people will get bored quicker and quit.

The problem is, that points here are essentially "capped" in a way. I might be wrong on the numbers, but I believe anything over 8k points is wasted here. Therefore, earning more points is basically useless.

It's also subjective as to whether harder olm is "more fun". You might find it more fun, others might not. 

Either way, my opinion remains that I think CoX is fine as it is.

wouldnt mind a points rework to allow mega scales and such, but leave mechanics as it.

@fopannz ? Excuse you lol. Do the content more? I’ve done it over 1000 times on oars between a main and an Ironman. I’m mature and experienced enough to make suggestions on what I enjoy or don’t enjoy or think would be a good idea. No need to agree that’s fine that’s what these things are for. Just throwing in my two sense because I ran it a few times here and was excited to jump into it and unfortunately didn’t find it nearly as enjoyable as I hoped because of how different it was. In any case still enjoying the server but just figured I’d shoot my shot.

CoX is fine as it is. There's a reason Raid boosters exist, otherwise you'll just use them at ToA (where the difference isnt that big). No support

although i can appreciate a more mechanically challenging version of the game, like osrs, alora imo is more for casual players who dont want to sweat and want some laid back gaming. thankfully omicron has been able to introduce things like dt2 awakened bosses, colosseum, and high invo toa's to satisfy the sweatier players, while leaving some laid back gaming methods like cox as it is. no support
