What is your suggestion?:
 

Provide the player a reward upon getting a duplicate pet.

How would this benefit Alora?:

 

In the vast majority of cases, getting a duplicate pet is a totally meaningless event. People shrug and move on. With this change, the player would have something else to show for their RNG.

 

Implementation Suggestion

A neutral solution could be a static amount of GP or an XP Lamp reward.
