What is your suggestion?:

buff drop rate for THIS CURRENT leagues after extension

 

 

How would this benefit Alora?:

Buff the drop rate for this current league, a lot of the players ive spoken with want to see some crazy good rng, and doing it after the extension (6 hrs from now) wont effect the winners.

 

Omicron has said that if it's suggested and people want it, it will come.

 

 

 

side note, doing this now has no negative consequences, and could potentialy be a test for future league drop rates to see where they'd stand.

 

 

Edit: OSRS's last league had up to a 5x drop rate multiplier for reference, while we're left with a 2x

Seeing some crazy shit being teased for the upcoming leagues on Osrs. That's what would be expected in a temporary game mode.

 

Now we are in a stage where the temp game mode competition is over so why not let all hell break loose for the final extended stretch.

 

I support some madness! Not some 1.5x weak boost bring on some BIG boosts!

SUPPORT, Its a temp game mode so lets have a week or so extension and just some crazy increased drop rates for some additional fun

While this Leagues was definitely an improvement from last, it still lags behind OSRS in terms of drop rates and how quickly your gear can progress. No reason it should be harder to grind on here. Support.

Please for the love of god. I've had 1 purple in 25 cox raids and honestly cba continuing that rate on a leagues account lol. Let's enjoy the chaos for however long it gets extended (if it does)

Absolutely support this!! Temp game modes should not be this grindy, let the people enjoy it since it is temporary.

I think it would be a good idea to have the drop rate buff during the extension to get feedback from league players on whether the buff was enough or maybe too much, so we know what's best for next leagues

Yes I don't think anyone wants to go dry on temp game-mode.

Yeah getting BIS wep of my build (Tumeken's shadow) just 1 day before competition is over was quite bitter sweet feeling to say the least lol. Just buff the rates so you get 5-7x rate on t7 for this extended leagues. For future leagues I suggest in t2 you get 2x, in t4 4x and t6 x6. Also making possible to get multiple purples from ToA during leagues would be great (OSRS is introducing this on the upcoming leagues at 500+ invocation level). Leagues is supposed to be fast paced and your gear grinds should not take the whole 3 week competition period, especially since we have all 3 raids as well as multiple bosses to grind for.

I was hoping to come to leagues to have fun with some gear and strats that typically can never be used. I did 85 barrows for only 3 items, 32 cox for 2 pscrolls, 4 different 800+ TOA for only one purple. I would much rather play the permeant game with similar rates. 2.23x just didnt feel enough like enouugh boost to enjoy the short-lived game mode.

I absolutely agree with staggering drop rates for tiers. OSRS gives like 5x at max tier and we only get 2.23x as an RSPS. 
I'm not sure what the concern is about drop rates being slightly "overtuned" as it has zero effect on eco and will keep the player base interested. Feels like 75% of the players who started leagues quit within a few days.

We will boost the rate a bit for the remainder of this League, it won't be the same as OSRS rates since we already set the Trophy thresholds and don't want to change those. However, in the next League we will try to match OSRS's rate more accurately now that our Leagues have nearly as much content as theirs and can match their pacing.
