What is your suggestion?:
Cooking Pet
Is this in OSRS?:
No, OSRS does not have a Cooking Pet. This would be an exclusive feature for Alora, giving the server a unique aspect that other RSPS do not offer.
Has this suggestion been accepted already?:
No, this idea is new and is currently open for feedback and consideration within the Alora community.
How would this benefit Alora?:
A Cooking Pet would add fun, balance, and new goals for skilling/PVM'ing enthusiasts. Here are some potential features and their benefits:
Potential Features and Benefits
- Faster Cooking Speed:
The Cooking Pet could slightly increase the speed of cooking (e.g., 5-10% faster). This would help players get through long cooking sessions more quickly, making bulk preparation of food like sharks or anglerfish less time-consuming. It provides a smoother and more efficient skilling experience. - Portable Cooking Station:
The pet could act as a mobile cooking station, allowing players to cook food wherever they are without needing to find a fire or stove. This is particularly helpful for skilling in remote areas or during intense PvM activities, reducing downtime and enhancing overall convenience. Due to balancing, XP rates will be reduced. - Background Cooking (No XP):
The pet could slowly cook uncooked food stored in the player’s bank while they engage in other activities. This feature offers a handy way to prepare large amounts of food passively without gaining XP, preserving the traditional cooking grind while giving players a helpful time-saving tool. - Enhanced Food Preparation for PvM:
The pet could prioritize cooking important foods like sharks or anglerfish from the bank when players are engaged in boss fights or other PvM activities. This feature would save time and keep players focused on combat, reducing the need to leave the area to cook food manually during intense sessions. - Occasional Cooking Buffs:
The pet might offer temporary cooking-related bonuses, such as reducing the chance of burning food or slightly increasing the healing effect of cooked food for a short period. These small boosts would provide a sense of added value while using the pet and make cooking feel more rewarding. Even useful in a PVM-based activity (Bossing or Raids).
Potential Names:

- Nibbles - A tiny mouse-like creature with big eyes, clutching a piece of cheese, and a bite taken out of it.
- Grillz - A tough-looking, barbecue-themed pet with grill marks on its back, holding a skewer of grilled vegetables.

Conclusion:
The Cooking Pet would bring a fresh dynamic to the skilling scene in Alora, offering players useful and balanced features that enhance the cooking experience. It would provide skilling enthusiasts with new incentives to level cooking and offer a practical companion that adds both convenience and fun to the game.
*edit*
Due to balancing between other pets, It might be overpowered to give this pet any benefits. This is up to all my co-Alora'ians to give their opinion.
