Interested to hear what feedback active league players have with the drop rates on raids and barrows. I think this league has been a lot of fun up until the time to do raids and barrows.

 

Barrows rates seems to be awful, and better in the regular game with dono rank and row i.

 

Cox and TOB have both been underwhelming also. Coming from playing previous leagues in osrs raiding is much more fun. Its usually not a question of is it a purple or not, but whos name is it going to be in and what item will it be this time. I have participated in multiple mass raids where nobody got a single purple. Granted this is a private server, it's still a temporary mode in which spending tons of hours to get to the point of being able to raid and have fun and then get to the point where you can't even unlock your bis upgrades for your relic style because you have to spend countless hours for long dry streaks even with server bonus being on. Then when you finally get a purple because of the weighting for items they are mainly dupe scrolls and items you don't need.

 

I'm not saying every single raid should be a purple but it feels like it should significantly be increased for this mode. Even if it means removing the chances of receiving multiple purple items and just better chances at rolling any item. I don't think getting dupe items would be as big of a deal as it seems to be now if purples were actually common.

 

TOB I went with a team for the entire bonus and we did 10 runs, 2 total purples were seen, and 1 player did not get one. All team members had T6 extra drop rate increase. Again this was with server bonus on so it would only be worse doing this normally making it even harder to find teams in leagues to run because people are not motived to do runs.

 

 

This is just my opinion from what I have experienced thus far and welcome others to share what their feedback is to see what other are feeling as well.

Can confirm it feels awful, done 15 TOB with the same team all T6+ relics and we have only seen 1 purple. TOA is just as bad and the time sink into one raid is much worse if your soloing and depending on your relics often doing 30+ minute raids on anything past 600 invo just for a not so great chance at a purple.

 

Really breaks the motivation to have any kind of fun in this time limited game mode

I went 40 dry at CoX at Tier 7, extremely dry at Barrows, running 800 invo ToAs without a guaranteed purple... somehow OSRS Leagues have better drop rates. There was an issue last Leagues with drop rates, so not out of the realm of possibility it is the same this time. It has been extremely fun up to the point of trying to grind for upgrades and just going days without drops on a temporary game mode. Please send help.

cox seems fine, i have 16 purples 2 kits in 52 kc.... tob im not sure, only done 5 duos so not enough to know if i can consider that dry.

 

Toa on the other hand seems underwhelming. I have 1 osm fang in 11 kc. all 700-800 invo.

 

Barrows also seemed kinda bad, felt like i get more barrows drops on normal game mode than here.

 

 

Was over tier 6 on all kc mentioned above. 

 

 

also wtf is going on with dragon implings? ive caught 53 and i got 0 dragon bones drops.

I started late but barrows and cox has been terrible for me. I got the drop bonus from tier 6 which seems to make no difference.

 

Please buff loot! It's a temp game mode :c

Definitely need to buff the drops. I almost got enough points to buy a barrows set before I started getting drops. It's like I hit a certain kc threshold and then started getting decent drops.

Drop rates should be updated by at least +15-20%. Raids and Barrows feel terrible when you go 15-20 dry at a time.

Drop rates are a bit rough. I'm at 10kc Cox T6 and haven't seen a purple solo and mass. Bandos I've done 10 KC and have two drops so I can't really complain there.

Barrows was slower than I thought it would be, but not TERRIBLE.

COX however I'm looking at 1/8-10 purps average.
Currently I've got 1 item in the last 25 raids or so. 12 dry and now 13 dry.
Seems very underwhelming for a temp game mode where the idea is to blast PVM and purely have fun.

Agree that the rates are slightly disappointing, with the amount of PVMing and time spent over this month I would really expect to get BIS

Feel the same way. Was a 1/18sh drop rate at cox at 55sh kc. In my 140sh barrows kc had several 20+ dry spells. Not a single double chest.

All of raids and majority of barrows were t6.

Very underwhelming for a LTM rsps. Makes you get burnt out very quickly.

My chamber grind was so rough last leagues that I didn't even bother this time. Looks like I dodged a bullet. Support

i did 20 chamber for only 1 purple this league

last league i did 26 b4 a single drop.

 

no motivation to keep playing this league till the end, back to my realism not worth wasting time and going dry for item that are gonna be gone in a few days.

I've played in all 4 leagues and placed top 10 in the previous 3 leagues.  I can confirm that the league drop rates are absolute trash.

 

However, I have been noticing improvement every year.  

Seems like every year there are more twisted bow drops 

 

In my honest opinion, drops should be flying in. 

It's a temporary game mode.  Who tf is going to complain that the drop rates are too common?

Think I'm depressed tbh. Having completed 12 hours of Cox and not being closer to a DHCB or Tbow, I don't feel very encouraged to go to TOA to eat dick for Masori knowing it's going to be deleted in 9 days. I really expected to have BIS by now to be able to pump out PVM tasks. 

Maybe I should have just rolled skilling relics and afk'd this shit.

League rates for raids are fine

Rates are pretty much exactly double unless you hit a max cap (which is usually only possible in TOA at 550+ raid level, but you're still at a 1/2 chance at that point)

 

I simulated TOA raids from level 300-550 assuming you get 30k points (max is 64k, so that's probably undershooting it), and the purple rolls are always doubled or higher.

 

ToB ones are easier, since it's a static rate in hm/regular, in hardmode for example your team needs to roll a value less than 40/100 to get a purple 1/2.5 for HM raid.

 

There was an issue where the boost was just not being applied to barrows though, but I believe that's working now as of the latest update

I've done 4 kc with 500+ invo and 3 kc with 700+ invo and I haven't seen a purple in a tempt gamemode.. if you are going to extend leagues PLEASE just buff the drop rates and make toa similar to osrs leagues. Tob could use a buff too, just do it man PLEASEE... Having shit rates for raids makes the gamemode pointless and boring because it's the most fun content with the relics but going dry doing 700+ raids is unacceptable.
