What is your suggestion?:

Allow players to bring noted logs to the saw mill in Varrock (or potentially somewhere closer to home) and turn them into planks. The cost can be tiered high to low for donator ranks or just a set price

No, but it would be in line with what we already have on Alora such as tanning noted dragonhide (https://www.alora.io...g-noted-hides/)

How would this benefit Alora?:

Would help not have to do plank make for 30 hours before starting construction grinds (for a higher cost than plank make), and would be a faster money sink since players would most likely do this to speed things up.

support. introducting noted dragonhide tanning set a precident for allowing the production of noted crafting materials. we now have noted unfinished potion making, noted tanning and we should also have noted plank making. having more planks made via donation rank is an insult of a perk and is vastly outdated. As such a trivial thing, it should be removed and added as a noted production method similar to the ones mentioned above.

Yes and considering this 'content' on a rsps is dumb imo

I support this. No need to leave some things behind like plank making if there is a npc for it.

Support! Brings consistency to other skills and would be a nice gold sink. I suggest even doubling the current price so that the spell isn't made redundant.

Support with a couple of caveats. If they move one to where the potion decanter is, I think the cost should remain the same but not include noted logs. It would still be faster, but wouldn't be immediate. However if they gave the option for noted logs to be made into planks, then maybe the distance shouldn't be changed. 
That said, we do have noted dhides, so I guess either way, it makes sense.
