What is your suggestion?: Currently on death, outside of npc reclaim instances, your tradeable items drop to the ground and have a 5 minute timer before other players can loot, after the 8 minute mark they despawn. This timer does not get paused when you are logged out. This means a dc where your net is down for 8 mins guarantees deletion of all tradeable items lost on death. I suggest the timer is paused while logged out like osrs.

Is this in OSRS?: Yes your death timer is paused when logged out as a measure against people who dc and have provider issues where their net can cut out for periods at a time.

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No.

How would this benefit Alora?: This would prevent the extremely punishing instances where players with more unstable connections would lose items that took them ages to get and would actually prevent a lot of players quiting after losing due to a dc. Or players don't have to use welfare gear just to boss because of the threat of dc and item loss. This also would not impact death timers as time to return is still the same.

I like the idea.. and yes sometimes internet can be a Biatch so this would be a small game changer for everyone with small internet issuses, SUPPORT!

Support for gravestones or anything that would prevent people loosing their banks on DC especially since this has been in OSRS for a very long time

Just add gravestones & death's office. It's only been suggested like 10 times.

full support! it nearly happenned to me to to lose all my items due to dc, ive been very lucky made it on time to claim all my items back. otherwise i would have lost mostly all my good gear.

 

or at least make it that items stay for a longuer time.
