What is your suggestion?:
Add Bryophyta & Obor to Alora

Is this in OSRS?:

Yes

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

Unsure

How would this benefit Alora?:

Introduction to Boss Mechanics

1. Learning Opportunity - Brophyta and Obor offer a great way for newer or unexperienced players to learn the basic mechanics of bossing. They provide a less intimidating environment to practice skills such as prayer switching, positioning, and resource management.

2. Skill Development - These bosses can help players build confidence and develop the skills needed for more challenging bosses in the future.

Enhanced Gameplay Experience

1.  Variety - Adding Bryophyta & Obor introduces more variety tot he gameplay, giving players additional content to explore and enjoy.

2. Engagement - These bosses can keep players engaged by offering new challenges and rewards, making the overall experience more dynamic and enjoyable.

Collection Log Expansion

1. New Slots - Including Bryophyta and Obor in the collection log adds more slots for players to complete, providing additional goals and incentives for completionists.

2. Rewards - The unique drops from these bosses can be valuable additions to the collection log, encouraging players to engage with this content.

Community Building

1. Shared Goals - Having more accessible bosses can foster a sense of community as players can team up to tackle these challenges together, share strategies, and celebrate achievements.

2. Supportive Environment - Lower-level skill bosses can help create a more inclusive environment where players of all skill levels feel they have content tailored to their abilities.

Economic Impact

1. Resource Circulation - The drops from Bryophyta and Obor can introduce new items into the economy, providing opportunities for trading and enhancing the in-game market.

2. Accessibility - These bosses can offer value resources and money making methods for newer players, ultimately helping them progress more smoothly through the game.

Conclusion

Introducing Bryophyta and Obor to Alora can significantly enhance the gameplay experience by providing valuable learning opportunities, expanding the collection log, and fostering a more inclusive and engaging community. I believe these additions would be a fantastic way to enrich our server and offer more content for players of all skill levels to enjoy.

Maybe in the future, but right now its not worth wasting coding on that since we are like 10 updates behind osrs.

With the exp rates provided in Alora, I don't think the step in PvM/level gap such as Obor/Bryo is needed in Alora.

I'd personally say Scurrius would be a more appropriate implementation for both learning pvm (which this boss was designed for) and the exp level gap wise.

At the current rate of new content being released into Old School right now, there's tons of stuff that Alora needs to catch up on. Obor & Bryo don't really feel like content that anyone would really need to be honest. Neither really do all that much in terms of learning how to approach bosses later in the game. Sure there's some mechanics, but really not too many that justify the dev time. I like the idea of Scurrius potentially being added, as that boss was specifically designed to introduce players into boss pvm (as well has an S+ tier pet). Also, the hill giant club, which is essentially worthless, is already received from the forum loyalty program, and the staff from Bryo is basically dead content as well (aside from fashionscape), seeing how incredibly easy it is to obtain nature runes on Alora for any game mode. Not a bad suggestion tho, and maybe in the future it could be added, but I don't feel like it's really necessary at this time. No support.

This is good for some col log spots. There’s certain things that could be changed for skill development that I believe would be more beneficial.

No support. Dev time should be spent on other things. As mentioned above with the boosted rates on alora people are at maxed combat usually in a couple days to a couple weeks based on game mode so it'd be a very inactive boss besides to grab some easy clog spot

On top of the valid reasons already mentioned, I believe bryophytas staff is a custom donation item, so i'm not sure how that would work.

Already some good feedback above. Also these low level bosses would be dead content really fast as not alot of players will use it as training. Ofcourse with new bosses the collection log is a reason players will kill it. But the accounts level to fast for it to be of vailable use. Neutral on this
