What is your suggestion?: Custom titles for super old players.

Is this in OSRS?: lol sort of but only on RS3

How would this benefit Alora?: Well today, I logged in and checked how old my account was and realized I made this account almost 3k days ago...

I just think old veterans that return or have been here forever should get a cool custom title.

Not a bad suggestion, but custom player titles are already a thing for eternal donators, they can set it to whatever they want.

True, and thank you for this. I did not mean custom as in we can set our own title.. but something like the oldschool title in game would be cool.

I came back to this server after years and was surprised my account was still here. Definitely one of the oldest and best rsps out there!

Not a bad idea. As you said already, just an old school title would be cool.. Although there already is the "Veteran" title.. would be cool to see a title for really old players too I suppose (with requirements like Veteran).

Without all that extra bs requirements to have.

As an old player myself, would be cool to see. A small title like ''2016'' would be enought. Since the server started in 2016.

I think this would be the most viable option for adding this. Something to make everyone feel included would be to add a simple year title that anyone can have with the year their account was made, examples: 22', 16', 20', 24', etc. 

 

This would make it special for all players.

I believe that it would be a valuable and respectful initiative to extend further recognition to "day 1" players beyond what is afforded by the veteran rank.

 

This could be awarded to individuals who supported and followed Omicron/Alora throughout its development phases, as well as to those who participated during the initial six months or the first year of its launch.

 

I think this should be reserved for those who have been loyal and respectful members of the community over the years. It doesn’t seem fair to give a rank or title to people who were around in the early days of Alora, took off for years, and then come back expecting to be rewarded just because they have an old registration date or a low UID.

Regardless, I shouldn't have to explain myself, but I originally joined and played for a couple months then quit playing rsps and came back. I think OG's who were here in the beginning and come back and get playtime under their belt should have a little reward.  Besides. the games pay 2 win anyway what would giving a title to the older players do? There is no harm in it.

waste of dev time to make a few feel special for creating an acc early and not returning for a long time. we already have a system to make these few feel special with veteran rewards you can receive by talking to hans.

The only thing that you said that actually mattered was the last line.

You being indifferent to my idea was all you had to say. I didn't ask for a title that "honors" anything. Also, your definition of "true" day-1 players and day-1 players doesn't matter. You played on day 1 then you're a day 1 player. Otherwise, you can get a different title like veteran.  You said a lot of words to just let me know you're indifferent to the idea.
