Hello and welcome back to the Alora Newspaper! We've taken some time with this due to some unforseen problems. However we're back and ready to contribute more news to the community.

 

 

This Month we've seen Omicron on overhaul pushing constant and great updates.

 

Ultimate Ironman mode:

Ultimate Ironman mode is now playable!

You must create a new account to play in UIM mode.

This will set your forum rank to Ultimate ironman as well.

UIM players are similar to normal Ironman, but they cannot: Use banks, Any functions that adds items to bank(eg. Dying with cannon) will instead drop items on ground.

Deposit items in to banks by using item -> bank deposit box

They may: Use items on a bank booth to note them ,Obtain Ultimate ironman equipment from Paul at home, Ultimate Ironman highscores are available on the website!

*Looting bags will be released within the next week.

 

 

Ironman webshop added:

 

• The items are:
  Golden apron
  Golden chef's hat
  Ring of Wealth (i)
  Gnome scarf
  Gnome goggles
  Gnome child hat

 

De-iron feature:

Due to requests, you are now able to de-iron your account and play as a normal player.

This is not free however, you will have to cough up 10M gp to do this and it cannot be reversed.

If you have less than 1 hour of playtime, you don't have to pay this fee!

This will reset your game mode and forum rank permanently. Choose wisely if you wish to do this, as it cannot be reversed,even by staff members.

Speak to Paul at home to de-iron your ironman.

NOTE: It will be announced to everyone online that you have de-ironed

 

Miscellaneous:

Dice bag can no longer roll 0

Fixed raw karambwanji in shop

"Website link" filter has been added for players with less than 1 hour of playtime

Veteran/Ex-staff yell tags fixed in-game

Sanfew's serums can now be decanted

Thieving tick manipulation bug fixed

Fixed levers going in/out of the Mage bank arena

Players who have a random event(Odd one out) will no longer be able to log out until they finish it.

Added a way for staff to find related users by ip/mac(for bot busting purposes)

 

 

 

 

There were no rule updates this week but make sure you get to know the rules here.

 

 

 

There were changes to the staff team this week.

 

 

F 8 has been been promoted to Administrator, he'll be helping to making tasks easier for myself and other administrators. He's also in charge of managing the events, which he's already done a great job with the last couple of days. 

 

uTorrent has come back on the team earlier this week, and got promoted to global moderator today.

 

Strato has been promoted to global moderator.

 

Jare has been promoted to global moderator.

 

Ironman otto has been promoted to server moderator.

 

Volta has been assigned to the forums instead of ingame therefore taking on the role of forum moderator.

 

Iron Senpai had resigned, but has since returned and has taken on the role of forum moderator.

 

Nick has resigned from his global moderator position, and has stepped down to forum moderation. 

 

Lowkey and Ikta had resigned due to personal issues, however, these were addressed ; let's hope we do not have to suffer another collapse of high ranking staff members again.

 

Mystogan has been promoted to server support.

 

Poor Level 3 has been promoted to server support.

 

Daltino has been promoted to server support.

 

Jace has been promoted to server support.

 

Elvemage has demoted due to inactivity, however, he been repromoted to server moderator on his account Beproud.

 

Unfortunetly we had some demotions\resignations this week.

 

 

Luke has resigned from his server moderator position, we wish him the best with his streaming career as we try to tune in as much as possible! 

 

 

This week unlike last one we had a clear winner with multiple staff choosing the same player. We'd like to congradulate Xrapierx on winning Player of the week. He will recieve 1x bond.
