What is your suggestion?:

Begin a counter for accepted suggestions per forum acc, fresh start is okay so we can see who our gamers are that contribute to the future growth of Alora

 

How would this benefit Alora?:

Everyone likes number go up, and maybe it'll lead to more great suggestions from our players

 

It could go under our bugs found streak

Big support would be cool to see everyones numbers and contributions to the server. I do have a decent amount of them myself

Feel like some people would spam suggestions just to get their counter up, so I'll be neutral for now.

That wasn't a problem when the bug report counter was added.  So why should spam suggestions be a problem?

Worst case scenario you guys just ignore them or straight up delete them.

That's pretty much what's already happening now with my suggestions.

There's a difference between the bug counter and a suggestion counter. For one, the bugs are a lot easier to moderate. If it's a bug that hinders play game and/or is game breaking, we fix it. If it's not, we decline it. 

Suggestions are different in the sense that people can spam the dumbest suggestions that shouldn't be declined, because it might be something that some players want to see, but are not good enough to be accepted either because it's extremely low priority, so it just ends up flooding the section with stuff that is a waste of time to add, especially because you'll see 10 replies under these posts saying "sure wouldn't mind seeing it added, support".

 

In my opinion we're in a good place right now with suggestions, most of them are pretty good and they're suggested by people that genuinely want to see the suggestion added.

Without going deep into the rabbit hole, there is PLENTY of dumb suggestions people make all the time, while there's also PLENTY of suggestions with massive support that doesn't get accepted nor declined that has a ton of support, not to mention if 10 replies are support, thats pretty significant consdiering the low amount of players who utilize the forums suggestions section. If this gets more players using the suggestions section of forums im all for it, it'd be nice to have the forums reflect the player count on the game.

 

A larger issue imo is not that it's low priority, but that it's slow development and content taking way too long to be released that should have been added a long time ago, but thats a whole different discussion.
