increase friends list cap or find a solution where closed CCs can have more than 400 people on friends list.

How would this benefit Alora?:

Bigger clans, Better Pizza, Papa Johns. 

 

 

I have risen from my alora slumber to once again, complain. As the leader of the most successful clan in Alora currently we constantly struggle with the friends list cap. If we allow our members to have 2-3 alts in cc we only need 120-150 active players to max out the friends list where nobody else can then join. As a bonus if we attempt to add new people with this cap it randomly deletes members from the CC causing chaos. 

 

We have over 250 active members but many don't even play alora because they feel that casually playing alora once in a while would cause our more active members to not have a slot in the CC friends list so many don't log in at all anymore so the regulars and higher-ups don't get burdened by the casuals.

 

This makes no sense, it creates unnecessary work for clan organizers taking away time that could be used for planning and executing events or anything else that would make alora more enjoyable. 

 

Please increase this friends list cap so our members can have alts in the cc, our higher-ups don't have to have daily chores to remove/add accounts cuz our hcim keep dying.

We do this regularly but it's very difficult to stay on top of as everyone has lives outside of these games

 

If someone's mom is in the hospital do we remove them from cc for being inactive for a week so they have an extra burden when they log into a game to get a little escape?

Nah, it shouldn't be the responsibility of clan administrators to keep a tab on everyones playtime, activity, IRL situation, etc etc.

 

Appreciate your support but it's time for change this has been an ongoing issue for years.

Personally never had an issue with the amount of players in a clan chat. I can see why this would be an issue for other clanchats. Support

Unsure why there was ever a cap (I understand game limitations but I’m sure it’s easily surpassed that by now). Especially with the ease of making alt accounts - this extension would be a good addition to clans.

Yeah, the introduction of the new(ish) clan chat system from OSRS would be awesome. It solves your issue, as well adds some cool features to the cc. The clan hall would be sick too, but let's not get greedy

full support for sure! kinda annoying to always have to add/delete accounts from cc when we choose to play a different game mode for awhile, use account for some other contents or only want to play more than 1 account at the time. make the list bigger will solve alot of problem.

I don't see a problem with this being added in the near future, would bring more events/etc into the clan chats and not having to delete someone to add a new player.
