Sounds good, dont expect them playing 15 mins to be banned in 2 everytime..

Support, with keeping the support section not requiring the ingame playtime.
So players that dont have alts still will be able to make a recovery post without beeing forced to spend 15 mins ingame on a trowaway account

Honestly you could make it 1 whole hour ingame, based off how the new-age bots are advertising/spreading links around.

to counter this for those who 'need' the forums, certain help related sections which arent for the public can be instantly used.

Forum bots are evolving and are easily getting through security questions and reCAPTCHA.

Introducing email verification is a good way to obviate spam bots from infiltrating the forum. Blocking suspicious or unfamiliar email domains is an additional good idea, as most spam accounts are unlikely to register with common email domains as they may not meet the security requisites upon registration (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc).

Support. Seeing 3 new forum post today alone by bots. With all of the solutions above maybe add actual in game progress to post on forums. Being online in game for 15 minutes might not be enought. Maybe from 250-500 total level you can post on forum's.

First of all, sorry about the recent bot spam. We've been taking care of it as fast as we can, sometimes with the help of reports from you guys if none of us are around.

 

In regards to the issue, we've had to disable a forum feature that would usually filter these bots, but it resulted in many players not being able to access forums for a while. We're currently working on a solution, but for now we'll manually ban them(not like Forum mods have much to do on forums anyways ).
