What is your suggestion?:
Teleport to outside of the boss instance like every other boss.

Lock it behind Ring Of Shadows if you feel like it. (Currently DT2 log says to talk to Eblis to get it, but his hut is closed and can't be opened)

 

The quest dude teleports you closer to the boss than the wizard.

How would this benefit Alora?:

Nearly all boss teleports take you to the boss, that's what I enjoy about Alora, you kill/skill more than you just run from A to B. I've only done a few kills and found it quite annoying.

That's what Ring of Shadows is for, it teleports you few tiles from the boss room. You need to get the tablets before you can use the ring to teleport.

As Ozy said. You can use Ring of Shadows for this purpose.

The quest guy (Asgarnia Smith) teles you to the spot the ring of shadows does if you had the tablet unlocked / fused into the ring for the purpose of doing the quest faster. The boss teleports through the tp wizard are a little bit of a run to give the ring of shadow teles a purpose. Also Eblis is next to the altar at duel arena, a little northeast of ;;duel for the ring and blackstone fragment incase you ever need another one.
