As it stands, we are an RSPS with one world so hopping to other worlds is not a possibility. For endgame ironmen, getting runes such as Blood and Soul have been quite the challenge. The Blood and Soul runes have been added in to the Vote shop and regular Rune shops have been added to help with this issue. The problem is that the shops have only so many runes in them and their stock is shared between all ironmen (and realism?) accounts so they are out of stock quickly. Of course there is the Pkp shop as well but for many ironmen this is not a very viable method to obtain runes in bulk and the shop is mainly meant for pkers. Omicron also added Catalytic, Combination and Elemental rune pouches to Paul's store that have more runes in them but the cost per rune is way too high for it to be worth it. Many late game or endgame ironmen have a lot of cash and nothing to spend it on, and some have even droppped this money into the economy. This suggestion would give us ironmen a good way to use a lot of money to get a bunch of runes really quickly while still needing to runecraft them.
The Scar Essence Mine has gotten a bit of backlash from both main accounts and ironmen in OSRS for being pointless in a sense that it is just quicker "shopscape" and only caters to ironmen. While I don't disagree with it being a bit boring solution and it really does only cater ironmen, mostly endgame ironmen with the best weapons but it is still way better than buying from shops. For Alora it is even better since we can not hop into different worlds to buy more runes and also would make an interesting option for mains to get bulk runes fast if they don't want to camp shops which is very tedious. I think using the shop prices for runes is fine, they are already very expensive as is. The method still requires to runecraft so it is not a "buy X option" but it also is not normal runecrafting, which is way less runes per hour.
TLDR; Quick way to get runes in bulk, fights shopscape and potential money sink for late game ironmen/mains that want a lot of runes very quickly.
