Hello everyone,
The update many of you have been waiting for is here! Phantom Muspah can now be fought in the Ghorrock Dungeon, bringing with it not only unique boss mechanics, but also a number of new rewards, including the Saturated heart (improved Imbued heart), the one-of-a-kind Venator bow, and the Ancient scepter, an upgrade to the Ancient staff. Aside from this, we've touched up a number of things such as improved latency for the game (and reduced disconnections), made the client load up quicker and added new features / enhanced existing ones, and added some useful QoL like being able to yell with two slashes "//" before your message, or having a "Deposit-inventory" option on Bank deposit boxes.
Additionally, we've been working hard on some other updates, and we'll soon be posting a Development blog to showcase some of them :)

- SEPA payment method is now available. This will allow EU players to make payments via direct debit, and not require a credit card.
- "Link" can now be used to easily and securely save your payment information such as your card details and contact information, so that you can checkout more quickly next time. This will be linked to your mobile number, so a text message will be sent every time you want to checkout, allowing you to skip entering any other information.
- Launcher Changes:
- The Alora jar launcher now supports windows ARM devices.
- Client Changes:
- The Timers plugin now has an option to display the escape crystal timer after it has been activated.
- Upon taking damage (where eligible), the escape crystal timer infobox will appear and begin to count down the number of seconds until it will teleport the player away, unless there is an interaction with the client.
- The object indicators plugin has been updated to allow multiple rendering options for marked objects, including the tile it’s on, the hull, the outline, and the click box.
- The Camera plugin now has an option to allow right-clicking to move the camera when clicked over objects.
- Context Menu Scrolling:
- Players can now scroll when a context menu is open if there are too many items to be shown all at once.
- The attack styles plugin now has a setting to send a chat warning when the player selects a warned attack style.
- Ground marker plugin colouring:
- If the “remember color per tile” configuration is enabled, players can hold alt/ctrl (or whatever alternate hotkey they have set on runelite) and right-click a ground marker to select a custom color for it.
- Players can now select the color they want to appear as in the party plugin.
- Cache Loading Improvements:
- We’ve approximately halved the length of time that it takes for a new cache to load on client startup.

- You can now yell by typing // before your message, rather than typing out ::yell.
- Phantom Muspah:
- Players can now travel to the Ghorrock dungeon to fight the Phantom Muspah.
- This is a new solo boss that has 850 hitpoints, and various phases to combat.
- To reach the boss, players can speak to the teleport wizard and teleport to it via the boss teleports menu.
- Once you’ve entered, the Phantom muspah will spawn in either a range or melee phase.
- Every 100 damage dealt to Muspah, it will switch phases and spawn various spikes around the room.
- Being hit by one of these spikes, or standing on them will deal damage to the player.
- At 33% and 66% health, Muspah will do 1 of 2 special attacks, determined by his starting phase when the fight begins.
- Once it reaches 127 hitpoints or less, it will teleport to the centre of the room, entering its shield phase where only prayer-draining hits can damage it.
- It will also lose 2 prayer for each attack it uses, so it will slowly drain over time.
- Methods to hit Muspah include the following:
- Thralls
- Smite
- Sapphire bolts (e)
- Ancient Mace
- Corruption spells
- When its prayer is fully drained, it will transform into it’s final phase.

- Rewards:
- Muspah’s common loot includes Ancient Essence, which is an item used to saturate the imbued heart, creating the Saturated heart.
- The Saturated heart is an improved Imbued heart, which does boosts the player's magic level by 4 + 10% of their level, and will not drain until the heart’s 5 minute cooldown timer has elapsed.
- 150,000 ancient essence are required to saturate the imbued heart.
- The Ancient essence is also used to charge the new Venator bow.

- Venator Shards:
- These rare drops from Muspah can be used to create the new Venator bow, or be broken down into 50,000 ancient essence with a pestle and mortar.
- Venator bow:
- The Venator bow is a new 2-handed bow that required 80 ranged to use.
- It can be created by combining 5 Venator shards together.
- This bow can hold up to 50,000 ancient essence charges within it, which enable its special passive effect.
- When attacking a target in a multi-combat area, the bow will try to fire another arrow into a nearby target, dealing damage up to two-thirds of the original max hi. Then, the attack can bounce again, either to the original target or a third one nearby. Bouncing arrows will only hit targets in a range of two squares from the target's centre tile.
- Each attack uses 1 charge, regardless of how many opponents are hit.

- Ancient Icon:
- This icon can be attached to the Ancient staff to create the Ancient sceptre, a mage weapon with a 5% magic damage bonus, which also boosts the effect of ancient magick spells by 10%.
- Theatre of blood adjustments:
- Verzik's attacks through prayer in hard mode will now deal 60% of the damage through prayer, rather than 40%.
- The solo and duo scaling have been reduced to 5%/10% reduced hp.
- Login server changes:
- We've improved latency when playing the game by consolidating all of our login servers into the same datacenter as the game server. This should lead to less disconnections , dead clicks / dropped packets and better ping overall.
- Ping plugin:
- The Ping plugin is now available on RuneLite, this will show you an accurate average ping from your network to the game server.
- Line of Sight Changes:
- The line of sight calculations should now work more accurately for both NPC’s and Players.
- This may remove some previously working safe spots that weren’t meant to exist, such as the demonic gorillas safe spot.

- Achievement Diary Perk Additions:
- As a reward for completing the Kandarin achievement diaries, players can now exchange noted flax with the Flax keeper in Seer’s village.
- Easy Diary: 30 noted flax per day
- Medium Diary: 60 noted flax per day
- Hard Diary: 120 noted flax per day
- Elite Diary: 250 noted flax per day
- As a reward for completing the Kandarin achievement diaries, players can now exchange noted flax with the Flax keeper in Seer’s village.
- Pj timer changes:
- Players can no longer be immediately attacked by a player or npc if their most recent target was a player and the pj timer is still active (unless the attacker is their most recent target).
- This doesn’t apply to PvM unless the player was recently in combat with another player, which would trigger the pj timer.

- Motherlode Mine Upper Level Changes:
- The ores in the upper level of the motherlode mine will now deplete on a timer which begins to countdown after the first ore is mined, rather than a set number of ores mined.
- This timer is from anywhere between 15 and 27 seconds.
- This means that players mining the upper level will not be competing with each other, and on average the ores should last quite a bit longer than the lower levels.

- Quality of Life:
- Players now have a setting to compact boss hp overlays:
- This setting can be found in the main settings interface, in the “interfaces” tab.
- Dark wizards now use magic rather than melee.
- The hand fan is now a 1-handed item.
- Curved bones from Muttadile will now announce over yell, and be logged in the collection log.
- The music interface “loop” option has been replaced with “rand” option, which will play random unlocked songs when selected.
- Clicking on the skill of the day button in the quest tab will now give information regarding the current/next skill of the day.
- It will say the current skill of the day, the next skill of the day, and how many hours/minutes until the next skill of the day.
- Clicking continue will prompt the user to open the skill of the day calendar on the forums.

- Bank deposit boxes now have a “Deposit-inventory” right-click option on them that players can use to quickly deposit all items in their inventory.
- The game will now keep track of how many god eggs/chewed bones have been sacrificed, and inform the player after each sacrifice.
- Tumeken’s shadow now has the proper attack sound.
- The high/low alch values shown when examining items will now correctly display the coins that will be received when alching the items.
- Clue scroll completions will now increment after the casket has been opened, rather than when it is obtained.
- This means that if you obtain a casket and lose it before opening, your count will not be updated, so beware!
- The Kraken respawn time has been reduced to 14 ticks rather than 35.
- The Farming skillcape now has separate boost and teleport options while equipped.
- Pressing the space button will now close the level up dialogues.
- The sheep pet now has a placeholder.
- The chat messsages from cleaning herbs are now categorized as spam rather than game messages.
- The crystal/dragon halberd special attacks can now attack multiple targets in a 3x1 area if their main target is not a large monster (1x1).
- This can hit up to 2 extra players (3 total) in PvP, or 9 extra (10 total) NPC’s in PvM.
- Adjusted the timing of Vet’ion’s shield bash so that the damage comes 1 tick earlier.
- The abyssal lantern can now be purchased from the Temple rewards shop for 1,500 abyssal pearls.
- The Realism general store now has the same potion/food stock as the regular/classic general store.
- Players can now craft the Elemental tiara by using the Elemental talisman on a runecrafting altar while having a tiara in thier inventory.
- This provides 40 base runecrafting experience.
- The farming cape teleport will now bring players inside of the farming guild.
- This does not apply to the cape rack teleport.
- Flower crown is now a 1/12.5k chance per plant (rather than 1/8k), making one gamble session have a 1/2,500 chance of obtaining the crown, rather than 1/1,600.
- Clockworks have been added to the hunter shop and the ironman shop for 17.5k each.
- Players now have a setting to compact boss hp overlays:
- Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where players could get double the experience from some Prifddinas agility obstacles.
- Spiritual mages will now trigger auto-retaliation when splashing on a player.
- The infernal pickaxe now requires 61 mining and 85 smithing to create, rather than 61 woodcutting and 85 firemaking.
- Fixed a bug where some kill records/kill counts would not show up on the in-game record interface.
- The string jewellery spell now works with salve shards.
- Fixed a bug where spawning a thrall would make the tile it spawned on "occupied", allowing it to be used as a safe spot.
- Fixed a bug where salamanders would consume trident charges when using the "Blaze" combat style.
- Fixed a bug with the prospector jacket arms not clipping properly.
- Fixed a bug where some weapons (such as dragon claws) wouldn't trigger the post-special attack teleport cooldown.

- Fixed a bug where the pet insurance interface would sometimes show "You have no insured pets" for immortal/eternal donators.
- Players must now complete a full wintertodt fight (from full hp) to complete the "Can We Fix It?" And "Leaving No One Behind" combat achievements.
- Fixed a bug where the guardian would remain attackable for 1 tick after it reached 100%, thereby making it possible for attackers to reduce it's health from 100%.
- Fixed a bug where the item charge plugin wouldn't properly track when the amulet of bounty broke.
- Fixed a bug where opening the bank search would sometimes forcibly close the bank.
- Fixed a bug where the compass buttons did not work if FPS was unlocked.

- Fixed a bug where the damage boost for the Tumeken's shadow against the nightmare totems wasn't working correctly.

- Presets selected in Icon mode will now withdraw items as intended.
