What is your suggestion?:Fix demonic gorilla coding so safespotting is not applicable. or let players safespot without being punished. it's not a boss, and it doesn't state in the rules you can't safespot them. it's only listed in rules for boss'

Is this in OSRS?:No, they arn't coded the same way as in osrs anyways.

How would this benefit Alora?:Would stop players from being punished because of a coding error. i understand not being able to safespot bosses, that makes sense. but not being able to safespot other monsters is kind of cruel and unusual.

Yeah ? that's where you can safespot them. 

if its illegal to safespot them, why not just fix the coding on them so you can't safespot them, instead of punishing players for safespotting. as in the rules it says nothing about safespotting monsters, only safespotting bosses.

I can grasp from the rules that you probably shouldn’t safespot them, but a lot of the rules including this one are rather incomplete in nature and could use some wording reconstruction.

Yeah i can't, i agree with the second part, but demonic gorillas arn't a boss. there's not even a collection log for them.

@mufasa  under bosses? because i don't see one. i see it under gloughs experiments. which are infact not a boss. if it was a boss it would be under bosses, right?

They are "safe spotable" in osrs. Although i am neutral if they should be on alora or not. Its not the same safespot because on alora aggro works differently and this "safespot" requires you to lose aggro on one account and have another tank the demonic gorilla.

This has been an issue since 2017 and likely won't get changed, see https://www.alora.io...tting-gorillas/ for details. Now with that said I do think it's retarded that we still have an issue with the wording of rules 6 years later. Fix the wording of the rule, actually fix demonics so you can't safespot them, and stop handing out punishments for things that can be permanently altered to remove possibility of breaking a rule. If you paid any attention to the real world you can see that consistently punishing people doesn't work if you don't address the root of the issue, and the bans will eventually get reversed in the next mass unban anyways so might as well rip off the band aid and plug the hole. We already know the seed pod won't get fixed for a year and they've already reverted to the super restore method of staffing 'just don't use it and you'll be okay' instead of making it P1 and getting a hotfix out. 

 

TL:DR Won't get changed and topic will be declined like it was back then.

@More glory This rule is refering to boss manipulation, its refering to safespotting bosses. Demonic gorillas are not a boss? how is this hard to understand. 100% agree with ghost.

Would be nice to see the bug get fixed so there would be no need for the rule re-wording. Has been an issue since release.
