Make it how it should be lol doesn't matter what update there is people will always be upset anyways because everyone in entitled to their own opinion.

 

Hence why you can't really use the argument of other people saying the game died after an update, because at the end of the day that's an opinion and if others agree that's also their opinion, not a fact.

 

The fact is, that's how it should be, so ill support it

NO SUPPORT. making this change will literally change the game. This would be the only server like that. Why change something that hasn’t been a problem until the last 3 days? At that point why not just add bounty Hunter crater and take out pvp all together because that’s is what you are basically saying needs to happen to make the wilderness “safe for everyone”. It’s the wilderness.. been around forever and look at RS, when they took it away the game died, when they made these stupid changes the game died. Yes it does suck getting piled by a team in singles but guess what you take that risk the moment you step in Wiley. You are deterring future players from ever coming on the server when they find out that one of the oldest traits of RuneScape is gone. Notice how no other rsps followed in jadexs footsteps when changing wild to single+, they knew what would happen if they did that. REMEMBER YOU ARE ENTERING THE WILDERNESS AT YOUR OWN RISK. this entirely sounds like a personal problem and now majority of you are crying because you can’t step out into the wilderness without getting attacked.

On osrs the amount of time it takes for someone else to attack you when you are already fighting someone else is higher. So if its 2 people vs you but its singles and the other person wants on you the other person has to stop attacking you. Right now the time is pretty short but if the timer changes to be longer then you should be able to logout before the other person is able to get on you.

I support this. Yes Alora is not Osrs however it strives to be nearly 1:1. I do not this is as controversial as others are making it out to be and does not hurt anyone.

You have my support! As was mentioned previously, despite what some may be leading you to believe, this update more likely caused an increase in wilderness activity in OSRS as opposed to "killing it". For what it's worth, eliop14 has posted 45 pk videos since that video he made (which was in the original period of disappointment that H mentioned, that quickly faded), and streams pking nearly every day. Not so sure that video tells the whole story. 

 

In regards to how it looks compared to other servers, I don't think that actually matters. No one joins Alora for the pk scene, as most people in this thread have likely said themselves, Alora is a server catered towards ironmen.

Lol you're the same ones that got ran off OS and came to Alora because it's a lot easier to tele to your target wearing max to quick pk a no risk iron, than it is to have to develop some sort of skill. If you guys really wanted wild activity you would stop piling into one clan just because you're terrified to actually experience wilderness content without a safety net of team protection. Break up the wannabe monopoly on the wild and actually fight each other instead of comparing dick sizes during the one target gangbangs for 200k.

This is in OSRS and makes sense. Wildy is hit and miss at times regardless, this won’t detract from it at all.

Seems like most of the negative comments are from people who fear change and believe it will harm their ability to PK. The game evolves, implementations can be for the better or go south - no one will know until it comes into effect.

We already have it easier with tele to target (even with the update), and there's no such thing as competition on Alora that has ever realistically lasted because everyone eventually piles into one single clan after the mains of one go back to OS or switch servers. People change but patterns don't. Saying this as someone who's been here since 2016 btw, whether it gets implemented or not won't change how I play but 100% the wild needs more updates than just matching some bosses and items from OS.
