What is your suggestion?: Make shooting stars last Longer

 

 

I'm honestly pretty disappointed by shooting stars on this server. The MOMENT I see notification, I run ASAP to them, get there and it's 95% done and I get 1 hit on the rock. It's not fun at all. Maybe reduce the rewards so it's not broken/exploited.

Support. In my opinion it's pretty lame that you need to be bank standing in order to have a chance to mine some stardust. 

Perhaps a balance can be found so that it doesn't take an eternity to mine like on OSRS, and doesn't get mined within 30s like on Alora.

Agreed with H. Perhaps it could be altered so that it scales with the amount of people currently mining it.

Time should be 1.5xed I believe, kinda hard to get to them in time in the middle of pvming etc

Definitely something I agree with. Depending on the common areas, you see the announcement and within 15 seconds - the whole server is on that rock. Spot on @H.

Support 100%, even if somehow do manage to get to the star you wont get much stardust because amount of players on it and how fast it disappears

The reason it doesn't last long is because of the loot it provides, particularly for ironman accounts. I could increase the length of time it lasts, but decrease the chance to get loot linearly, that way more people can reach it and mine it, but the effective loot will be the same.

I support what Omi mentioned above. Good balance between the OP's suggestion and the current condition.

any update on this? Stars gone within 30 seconds and then 2.5 hours till next, remove rangers and fury and just have the random stuff (food, arrows, addy plate) with stardust
