Good day, Alorians!

 

I have noticed that PvP is one of the least favourite activties in Alora. I am curious to see what is deterring new/existing players away from PvP in its current state. Why is PvP not so popular in Alora? What could make it more popular? If you dislike PvP, do you mainly not like the Wilderness, or PvP in general?

 

I personally love PvP. It is one of the only things that is not 100% predictable, and it is inherently a very competitive category of Old School RuneScape and RuneScape Private Servers.

Having pked for a while, it gets very boring. The meta has evolved so much over the past 5 years to the point where you rely more on RNG than personal skill. Hoping for 80-40 ags specs and so on gets boring quickly. Plus the fact that pkers on here risk sets that are not worth much so you're better off just pvming or something instead.

 

The korasi has shaken up the meta a little bit so hopefully once that gets added here it will be nice.

Agree with H here, I'd also add that this truly just isn't a pking community. The upcoming wilderness rework has the potential only because it increases the number of non-pkers in wildy. More pray = more predators = more competition.

Alora has very strictly carved itself out as an Ironman server and those who want to PK typically go elsewhere long term.
