Following on from these polls: https://www.alora.io...re/#entry447612

It seems that the vast majority of players don't vote daily. Reason why: they're mostly ironmen and don't care about the gp reward, and/or the vote shop rewards aren't good enough.

 

1: Add more items to the vote shop which are sought after by players, especially ironmen.

 

Examples:

 

- Imbuement scroll

- Arclight

- Enhanced crystal key

- Marble block

- Goldsmith gauntlets

- Ice gloves

- Bank expansion scroll

- Dark totem pieces

...

 

2: Rename "Daily Rewards" to "Daily Login Rewards". Add a seperate rewards system called "Daily Vote Rewards".

 

Almost identical to current Daily Login system, however it has different rewards. Could be something like this (feel free to suggest different items):

 

Day 1: Crystal key

Day 2: 750 x Blood runes

Day 3: 1x Vote book

Day 4: 75 x Uncut ruby

Day 5: 3 x Crystal key

Day 6: 1 x Vote book

Day 7: 2 x Sherlock's notes

Day 8: 2 x Enhanced crystal key

Day 9: 1 x Vote book

Day 10: 1 x Raid booster

Day 11: 1 x Drop booster

Day 12: 500 x Dragon bolts

Day 13: 2 x Vote book

Day 14: 1 x Cosmetic mystery box

 

You would have to redeem an auth code to unlock the rewards for the day.

 

3: Add more bonus options when vote books are redeemed with 2FA active.

 

Examples:

 

- 1 hour of boosted daily task points

- 1 hour of drop rate boost (lower than drop booster increase, maybe 10%?)

- Option for additional vote points instead of a boost (maybe 30-50%)

- Improve raid point boost (increase to 10% and extend duration to 1 hr)

 

 

QoL suggestions:

 

4: Add the command ;;auth (and ;;claim, ;;claimvote) XXXXX for redeeming auth codes.

 

5: Allow players to claim both login/vote rewards anywhere except PVP areas (currently you can only claim in the home area).

 

 

 

Let me know what you guys think. These are just ideas at the moment so feel free to suggest changes.

Been wanting a ;;auth or ;;claimvote command for so long but way too lazy to suggest it xD. Claiming daily vote / daily login rewards everywhere is also a good idea, having to be at home to claim them doesn't seem very reasonable. The rewards for the daily vote rewards also seem pretty nice!! However, please don't add dark totem pieces to the Vote Shop and have a repeat from when they were added to PKP shop and Skotizo got spammed on multiple alt accounts. Boosted daily task points would also be a nice addition ! ~~

Absolutely love this. As stated in your general discussion thread. Would be good to re-vamp voting as can get a bit stale when majority of players only use it for the bonus xp + have everything they need from vote store.

Love all of these ideas honestly. Voting is a big part of keeping on the high scores and keeping active, and I think it's time for a voting rework to incentivize people to vote!

100% support to all of these! I would also like to see bonus vote point days too, to help irons who are trying to get a cannon as imo, it takes way too long for what it is. Maybe x2 vote points on streak day 7 and 14 if the vote streak is implemented?

all are very good options but i really like option 1 and 2.

voting systeme need a rework anyway, so i think any option would be great to have.

In terms of boosting raid points, players have 2 options...

 

Option 1: 5% boost in raid points for 45 minutes with a vote book (8m)

 

or...

 

Option 2: 35% boost in raid points for 1 hour with a raid booster (10 tokens ~ 10m)

 

 

As a result, option 2 with raid boosters is a lot better bang for your buck.

Expansion on Monaco's Idea 3

 

An increase from 5% to 10% bonus raid points sounds good.

 

How about extending the time (from 45 minutes) to 1 hour to make it consistent with the duration of raid boosters?

 

This would help incentivize using vote books in conjunction with raid boosters.

Alternatively, you could add a raid death insurance perk?  For a 1 hour period, deaths in raid will not deduct points.

As an uber donor, deaths in raid are -10% points, so increasing bonus raid points to +10%, just cancels that out anyways.  

Perhaps a raid death insurance perk from vote books would make raid deaths less frustrating and encourage new players to try it out.

100% support. This is a pretty solid suggestion. I myself play mostly on an ironman and this would be extremely helpful.

I support this, I haven't really cared too much for vote books after maxing.
