What is your suggestion?: Add Marble block to Vote shop/daily shop

How would this benefit Alora?: Just makes sense to me that an item required x2 to build Ornate rejuvenation pool should be easier aqquired then it is atm. Right now I believe it's supposed to be 1/132 from rdt, and imo it's way too rare and takes way too long to reach the amount you need to be able to build what you want in your poh.

i do support to have another way to get marble block since they are so rare you can barely obtain them.


vote shop? yeah it sounds like a good way to me.

@Andy Seeing how they are way to rare to obtain as a drop atm, buying them is more viable, yes. But should building your own useful poh be really be locked ::store?

Current methods as in hitting 1/132 rdt or buying for 100 tokens? 1/132 rdt is way to rare to start off with, across my entire monster log I have only achieved 1. The other option is ::store, but should building your own useful poh really be locked behind ::store?

Can you truly argue though that a construction supply should be locked behind either a very rare drop from "all" monsters, or behind a 150m/$10 bond? Especially seeing how it's purchasable on osrs for 325k cash.

I could truly argue, yes. It makes sense to have such items obtainable the easy way by supporting the server which you can play without any membership costs and the whole monetary business behind such pay2play systems OR you put in some efford and either grind for the drop (afkable) or grind for the coins to buy a bond ingame. 
Played many different ironman game modes where I grinded the marble blocks myself from RDT so I totally understand what you're saying but still feel like your suggestion shouldn't be implemented in my personal opinion.

Support. Don't agree with most of the replies.

 

- Would incentivise voting, which is incredibly important (and needed, in my opinion).

- Shouldn't cost 150m to be able to obtain 1 marble block.

- RDT as the only means of obtaining via PvM isn't enough, drop rate is too low.

I respect your opinion. I simply have a hard time wrapping my head around how come this is the case for marble block, can't think of any other skilling supply that's locked behind the same amount of work as the marble block. I also feel like this item is not something you would want throw 100 tokens on, more so something you HAVE to throw 100 tokens on in order to obtain them. 

 

The price of the marble block, if it ends up in vote shop, should be (imo) around 150-300 points each, to incentivise people to vote. I leave the pricing upto Omi (should it make it that far).

Support, I think there needs to be some sort of alternative way of recieving them except for rdt or ::store.

No disrespect @Iron Pah but you haven't really done much pvm from the highscores looks of it to complain about not receiving the 2 needed yet. Plus we have the regular pool at home and ::dz players can use with a longer cool down which you only need a short cool down in niche situations which can be very OP which is why the marble blocks should be as hard as they currently are to get.

 

Voting is good for the server but not the biggest deciding factor considering it's well known the top vote sites are corrupt af anyways.

I think the current ways to get marble blocks are fine. It's not only a buyable from ;;store, but you can also 100% afk crabs for the drop too. 

 

PoH upgrades shouldn't be too easy in my opinion. I'd vote to keep things the way they are.

No support, either grind out the drop from the RDT or support the server and buy from ::store

Support, same reason as Monaco said && yes buying from ;;store will support server but so would voting? just seems pretty weird for example when you only want 2 but your forced to buy 25 XD or sit at a low level monster for hours wasting time that could be spent somewhere more important.. POH already is costly and all for a good reason obviously, adding to vote shop only helps more people then hurts so not sure why not.
