Okay, its me iTry. The man who hears that Omni trades OSRS gp for Alora gp, the man who watched people at gamble trade it constantly. Imagine not playing for 5 years and then downloading 50+ RSPS and then one hits just right. You play for a month and grind really hard. Hell you even see they are doing updates, so what the hell, here is $10. You grind and grind and grind. Hey, it would be cool if I invited some of my friends from High School to play. Playing regularly now and things are going well. Getting boss drops, got some nice gear going. Finally get up to my first 100M, man the excitement. A months worth of work for a stack of pixels? Nice. Killing Zulrah, Cerberus, and others non-stop. Hmm, I wonder what RS3 looks like these days? Login and see I have a cleaned account. Well, I have seen people trade gp back and forth...guess Ill yell it to everyone! Five seconds later, I get a ban. Wow thats weird. I never say harmful things to anyone and always help new players. I am an active member of a clan and I wasnt hiding anything. Maybe you guys should at least give out warnings before something like this...I am done playing. I hope everyone I am leaving behind has fun. Rules are rules, I get it Hitler.

6. Real World Trading

Purchasing/selling goods, or services (accounts, real life items, RSGP, Microsoft points, riot points, other private server items for Alora items etc.) will not be tolerated and action will be taken if it continues. We don't have the time for members to come to us and tell us that they've been scammed or hacked. We will not be held responsible of the scam, or hacking, simply because it doesn't concern us. if u do minor stuff that isnt worthy of a ban you get jailed

ban is ban, nothing else you can do and no warnings

 

maybe overtime they will let you play again but it seems you have rwted so you're gonna get your account wiped

If you were just talking about it in yell, and never actually went through with it, I think your account should be unbanned since you technically didn't break any rules. I know people have spoken about buying/selling RS gp in the help cc before, and they just get told that it's not allowed, not outright banned immediately.  Sorry, but it seems whoever banned you was a bit trigger happy, hope you get your account back soon.

Thank you Thorru. And it seems I have already had my name tarnished. People already think I did RWT. I actually never traded anything at all...I simply yelled about it. This is the first time Ive ever been in trouble for anything on here. Guess some servers just have trigger happy mods ready to ban in mere seconds. You will be missed my friend.

Hi, we're definitely going to work on situations like these. A punishment has to be given in some circumstances, IE in this case you obviously had the intention to sell gold and a moderator reacted accordingly. It's not exactly the same when someone says "I'm selling gold" versus the "Is rwt allowed" type questions from the help CC. We also force users to view the rules before they can use the forums and you could have easily checked them to see if this was allowed or not. If you're interested, I encourage you to appeal and we'll give you a run down on how we'll handle your specific case and for all similar future cases. 

 

Also for reference, Omicron accepts OSRS as a method of donations for those without a paypal/credit card. They don't receive direct Alora gp for their OSRS gp, they receive donator store tokens/credits as they would by donating with paypal/card. We did nothing to tarnish your reputation, you yelled about RWT, we didn't announce over yell that you did it and have been banned.
