What is your suggestion?:

1) Add a forum award upon obtaining Castle Wars pet, giving people extra incentive to do the content.

 

2) Instead of Event Manager being able to toggle, whether the game of LMS is free or not, change it to be able to toggle whether you get points or not, but the games remain free.

That would prevent any kind of point farming, but people would still be able to do the content.

 

3) Modernize LMS compared to what it is in OSRS right now.

 

Is this in OSRS?: 1 and 2 no, 3 yes

How would this benefit Alora?:

The content is not used, CWars would help out people who would want the pet, because you need 4(?) players to start the game and it is pretty hard to find them nowadays. LMS gives people an option to host clan events for example if the games were free and you do not get points for it.

I don't mind modifying the minigames to make them more enjoyable on alora and I support this, but would suggest adding more details to "modernizing lms compared to OSRS" since not everyone playes OSRS and it'd be better to know exactly what's being suggested not just a broad stroke of a need to modernize.l

Personally I would like to see a "Castle Wars" section in the minigame tab of the collection log.

Adding all the other untradeable awards from castle wars to it along with the pet and then having a forum award for completion would be sick.

also i think the suggestion to make lms free would be awesome to pratice nh.

it would be very nice to let enter only ''2'' player at lms just for fun and quick pratice (without receiving points )

Castle wars was one of my favourite minigames back in the day. Before EOC and before things were "meta" and people just did content for the fun of it. I would LOVE to see a return to Castle Wars some new incentives or server events there would be great!

 

As with LMS, I've barely played it because.. nobody plays it. It's as simple as that. If the rewards for it were more valuable or the points gain was faster people might actually do it. If you were to: as an extreme example, add all of the skilling outfits to LMS shop, it would be worth doing and people would chose to do it over Tithe Farm for example.

It would be cool to see castle wars active.
CW should have a bonus via vote book/scroll or weekday/end events so you can acquire even more tickets.

I would love if castle wars were more active. I agree that there would need to be a greater incentive for people to play, similar to pest control.

 

A big issue with this though is that castle wars is not properly coded. There was a castle wars event earlier this month and there were a lot of bugs with the minigame. I'm sure I'm missing some but to name a few - not being able to go up or down stairs while frozen, being able to attack or be attacked through barricades, mining the rocks underground takes far too long, rocks in tunnel collapsing once you went back upstairs, and I'm sure other things I'm not remembering right now.
