[7/11/22] Hotfixes:
Another round of hotfixes have been applied! ToA is looking a lot smoother already, and aside from some small bugs and rebalancing changes we feel very satisfied with the current state of the raid :)
- Tombs of Amascut is NO LONGER a safe death for Hardcore ironmen.
- This was bugged and only removing rank on Hardcore GROUP Ironman, but will now apply to ALL Hardcore Ironman.
- Fixed a bug where Dark cores would not de-spawn after a few minutes of inactivity.
- The unstable orbs will no longer deal damage if Akkha's hp is 0.
- BaBa will no longer throw a large rock at players after the rolling boulder phase.
- BaBa’s melee swipe when rocks are falling will no longer hit heavy through prayer (fixed and tested this time).
- Any boulders that were falling from the ceiling will no longer form rocks if BaBa jumps to the top to perform his Rolling Stones attack.
- Players can now go back through barriers in a challenge room to pick up any supplies that they dropped (eg. Brews/restores to swap for hammer in Apmeken challenge room).
- Fixed a bug where players could safespot Akkha.
- Fixed a bug where the the hovered tiles and the Ground marker plugin tiles would be incorrect at Akkha/Nightmare.
- Players will no longer receive Honey locusts after dying if the On a diet invocation is active.
- The Phase 2 wardens will now use the special attacks slightly less often.
- The Phase 2 warden core will now last an extra 17 ticks after the first down, and then 8 extra ticks for any extra down after the 2nd.
- For example, on the first down, the core appears for 25 ticks, then the second/third will last for 42 ticks, then for the next downs, it will be 42, plus an additional 8 ticks for each extra down after the 3rd.
- The wardens/core/obelisk will now be immune to poison/venom.
- If a player dies at the same time as the final Warden, they will no longer get stuck as a ghost and be unable to loot.
- Instead, they’ll be placed next to the teleport crystal and can enter the reward room to loot.
- Potentially fixed the issue with mid-raid supplies at TOA.
- Please let us know if you’re still encountering an issue with them.
- Fixed a bug where the Deadly prayers invocation was still reducing prayer effectiveness by 25%.
- Fixed a bug where protection prayers were not reducing incoming damage by enough during the Phase 2 warden fight.
- Prayers will now reduce the incoming damage by 80%, rather than 60%.
- Quality of Life:
- Reduced the amount of health the wardens have in Phase 2.
- Akkha's accuracy has been reduced by 15% across the board, particularly since Alora's pathing mechanics don't allow players to use the Butterfly Method to kite akkha at higher raid invocations.
- Protection prayers will now reduce Akkha’s damage by 70% rather than 60%.
[6/11/22] Hotfixes:
Although we applied a bunch of fixes yesterday that we did not post update notes for, we have patched up another round of bugs and hopefully ToA will feel significantly smoother now:
- Tombs of Amascut Fixes:
- Players will properly be freed from the sidelines when the final Warden fight is complete.
- Dead players in ToA (ghosts) can no longer use emotes.
- Multiple mirrors can no longer be picked up in ToA.
- A bug where some players would not be able to enter challenges has been fixed.
- BaBa’s ceiling boulders will no longer trap players in the rubble.
- If BaBa starts his rolling boulders attack right after throwing a large boulder at you, that thrown boulder will no longer damage you, as you are unable to defend against it.
- Bosses (BaBa, Akkha, and Tumeken/Elidinis’ wardens) can no longer be frozen/snared.
- BaBa’s melee attack while a boulder was dropping from the ceiling was hitting much higher than it should have (it was using the boulder damage calculation rather than melee) and has been fixed.
- Baboon shamans will spawn thralls less frequently.
- Fixed a bug where the ice orb effect at Akkha would not properly be removed after 25 ticks.
- Added a 2 tick delay before the trailing orbs can explode at Akkha.
- Players now have 3 ticks longer to toggle the correct prayer against Akkha’s mage/range attacks.
- Fixed a bug where superiors would drop 3 of the same totem pieces sometimes.
- Adjusted the npc accuracy to match OSRS for Akkha, Zebak, and the Wardens.
- This should, on average, make the npc’s far less accurate, assuming the player is wearing the correct gear to defend against the attack.
- Donators will now have increased loot rolls when rolling on the common drop table at the Tombs of Amass.
- The amount of rolls will be similar to what is listed in the FAQ:
- Extreme donators will have a max of 4 items (rather than 3), all the way up until Eternals who can get a max of 7 items.
- The amount of rolls will be similar to what is listed in the FAQ:
- Other fixes:
- Fixed a bug where the Twisted bow was not properly adjusting damage in rare instances.
- The first instance is when the boost would harm max damage
- For example, at sand crabs, since they have a magic level/accuracy of 1, the max damage would be reduced to 54% of the normal max hit
- The second instance is when an npc had a magic accuracy bonus that was higher than their magic level, it would sometimes use the magic level instead.
- This was happening at Zebak, so the twisted bow should now perform significantly better against him.
- The first instance is when the boost would harm max damage
- Fixed a bug where the Twisted bow was not properly adjusting damage in rare instances.
Hello everyone,
The wait is finally over! The Tombs of Amascut are now available to all adventurers who are brave enough to enter. Alora’s Third Raid takes place deep within the Kharidian Desert, where players must take on Amascut, formerly known as the Goddess of Rebirth, and now known as the Devourer — those who can make it out alive may find an abundance of wealth buried within the tombs of the pyramid.
We’re proud to be the first RSPS to release ToA and provide our players with the new raiding experience as quickly as we could. We’re also looking forward to getting back to our usual update schedule, as we’re sure you’ve noticed that there has been a lack of consistent updates since we undertook this project.
Last but not least, you won’t want to miss our Anniversary events this Sunday, so take a break from Raiding to join us for a chance at some incredible prizes! More info can be found here: Alora's 6th Anniversary Drop Party
- Tombs of Amascut:
- To get to the Tombs of Amascut, players can either type the ::toa command, or use the the teleport wizard to get there.
- If the entrance to the pyramid is blocked off, it means that the player does not have the necessary requirements to enter.
- Players will require at least 55 Firemaking, 55 Crafting, and 62 Agility to enter.
- Once inside, players can use the obelisk in the centre to create a party and set their invocations for the raid. Other members can apply to join the party.
- There are many invocations to choose from, so we’ve decided to let players discover them for themselves.
- Be warned, each invocation that is activated will not only add special mechanics that make the raid more difficult, but they will also increase the difficult of the raid by increasing the damage that enemies do, the hitpoints that they have, and the defence/accuracy of them.
- There are many invocations to choose from, so we’ve decided to let players discover them for themselves.
- If the entrance to the pyramid is blocked off, it means that the player does not have the necessary requirements to enter.
- Once inside, players will be able to choose from 4 possible paths, and must complete a challenge room, followed by a boss room within each path.
- Once all 4 paths are completed, the final path of the Wardens will become available, where players can take on the final wardens in the 3-phase fight.

- There can only be one dark core active at any given time.
- Mechanics:
- The dark core will drain 5-13 hit points from all players within 1 tile of it (3x3 area), and heal corporeal beast for half of the damage it drained from players.
- If there are no players within the attack area, it will jump to the northernmost player.
- If the Dark core is poisoned, it will attack far less frequently.
