What is your suggestion?: 1. Add a required risk for looting random bloody key spawns in wildy

2. Add a risk to be able to attack wildy bosses

3. Updates to craws/vig/tharromans sceptre. Preferably just tharromans sceptre depending on the outcome of a weapon like Korasi on osrs.

Is this in OSRS?: #3 is being beta tested on osrs. #1 & #2 are Alora specific

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No

How would this benefit Alora?: 1: Would add a better value to bloody keys and considering the potential loot there should be some risk involved when picking up random spawns otherwise it's just pumping in gp into the economy.

2: The wilderness is supposed to be "high risk high reward" so it just will add more pvp activity and more accomplishment to wildy diaries and boss loot. Especially with a boss like Skotizo

3: Tharromans sceptre especially with the buff and auto cast ancients would create the best magic exp in the game as well as potentially slayer reviving the wildy slayer cave and adding more wilderness activity.

#3 is being tested on OSRS like you said, and if that update comes to OSRS im sure omicron will update them as such ( i believe he said this in a suggestion thread where someone asked for tham sceptre to be buffed ).

  • Big NO SUPPORT on 2. In my opinion adding more "risk" to being able to kill wildy bosses will make the wilderness even more dead, with the sole reason that wilderness content is not worth it imo except for revs and 1 or 2 wildy bosses. Making it more risky to do the content at all will make the wilderness even more dead. Why would content that is already dead all of a sudden revive if you make it more risky ? Makes no sense. The biggest problem is as soon as there is just 1 pker online you get permanently harassed by target teleports so this won't solve the issue.

#1 - I do support this to an extent, I believe it shouldn’t be as much as Supply Chest but it is annoying seeing random low level naked accounts picking up the key and insta-logging.
There should be a level and risk minimum cap.

#2 - No Support , this would heavily decrease the activity for some and as stated; most bosses are 30-40 tele range.

#3 - As stated by Selena and Mustafa

Support on #1 - People just make throwaway lv 70 accounts to pick up the keys with 0 items in inventory, which defeats the purpose of bloody keys in the first place

Support on #2 - Would actually give an incentive for more people to start doing pvp, right now pvp is completely dead because most people just 1 item pvp bosses (trident callisto, blowpipe/crystal bow chaos ely, etc...), thus not a viable money maker. I don't think the risk should be high, but it could at least cover the minimum risk required to gain pkp.

Neutral on #3 - should match whatever osrs is doing

Neutral on #1.

 

No support on #2. As other people have stated, it would make pvm'ing in wilderness even more dead than it is already. It would not increase people going to wildy at all.

 

Neutral on #3.

 

Mainly just wanted to voice my no support on #2. I think it would kill the wilderness even more than it is already.

On #2 how about at least a require risk to kill skotizo? I've seen people 1 iteming suiciding skotizo and even UIM 1 iteming wildy bosses. This makes pkers get them as targs which then lowers pvp activity because of the lack of reward to kill them. For the wildy bosses some have great drops, I.E Venny for spider eggs is by far the fastest way to get them. D'Pickaxes, cannonballs, sanfews from others. Having any content in wildy IMO that is 100% safe makes 0 sense. Wether you can tp or not. Skotizo AT LEAST, come on.

#1 - 100% should be a risk for keys like the chest. Support

#2 - Not so sure about adding risk to ALL wilderness bosses but to Skotizo for sure. Some Support

#3 - Wait for OSRS changes to make any changes here. Neutral

 

One of the biggest problems with the wilderness right now is that very few people risk enough to be eligible for upgrades/PkP or kill streaks so lowering that threshold would be good. Would help combat 1 item'ers too as they are still worth killing then. So many people head into the wilderness with nothing to loose rather than trying to survive, it really takes the fun out of it all.

@needahrimjob the skotizo risk is something else than adding it to all wildy bosses. Skotizo already skulls and teleblocks but I do follow you untill a certain point that one iteming and just suicide running skotizo shouldn't be possible adding a certain risk of let's say 500k to attack it would be reasonable. Although I'm not sure you will achieve more "activity" by doing that.

I would SUPPORT, adding risk of +-500k to attack Skotizo, rest of the pvm content in the wildy should remain untouched.
