What is your suggestion?: Escape crystals for hcgim/hc gamemodes

Is this in OSRS?: Yes

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: Have not been able to find

How would this benefit Alora?:  Ability to teleport out of unsafe areas that are currently locked and cannot be teleported away from danger.
 

 

I would like to propose an extension to the escape crystal on alora to be allowed to force a teleport from any location (except wildy ofc) so that way it can be a simple buy from Paul the ironman shop and can be used anywhere (jad/chambers/tob/questing/etc...) This can double for a minor "gold sink" but not really major.

Support. Would be nice to have an emergency crystal that will force tele you out of anywhere, except wildy.

This is already a thing in OSRS, see here.

• Pest Control
• Theatre of Blood

Players can also use the crystal on their group members to activate them, allowing teleportation of teammates out of danger in an instant. To enable this, players must right-click the crystal and select "Toggle". Both players must have a crystal for this to work, and both crystals will be consumed in the process."

 

In OSRS you can also toggle it to allow teammates you tele you too. Would also be nice to have this feature for dc'ing, etc.

Yeah already had the direct link to the osrs thread posted, reason i wanted to extend from the list on osrs is because some places like fight caves ou can teleport out of on osrs and not alora. Now that can be placed under a bug report but felt this general method is a quicker fix. But thx for the informative post!

This is an existing mechanic in OSRS so I dont see any issues of it effecting current gameplay.

I was surprised when I found out this item wasn't added after the HCGIM release. It makes many things like the Inferno, CoX, and ToB much safer for HCGIMs.
